The bag is a great idea however, you cannot fit much inside due the the small volume of the bag. i had hoped to fit my lightweight sleeping bag inside but there was no possibility of this. you could, however keep a few clothing articles or valubles inside such as cameras and equipment. just don't plan on making it your stuff sack.

Comments about Akona Dry Compression Sack (AKB795):

I used this bag every day of a 7 day dive trip to Cozumel on the boat. It stored a dry towel, my valuables, tip money, a dry shirt and a few other things. The compression feature works with ease and is helpful on saving space. My items were always dry and "secure". Lightweight and easy to carry with the sewn on strap.

Comments about Akona Dry Compression Sack (AKB795):

Water Permeates this bag if it's placed in a heavy Rain or if it hits the surface of the water at all. Not Really waterproof as advertised! It behaves like a tent insofar as, if the outside get's soaked and you touch it, water permeates at those points. A ziplock works better.

This is a nice dry bag, but they have sewn extra straps on it that I don't understand how to use. These straps do not tightly secure because they "slip".
