Comments about Akona 2mm Beanie Hood:

I initially ordered this hood in a large, but that ended up being so small and tight that the chin strap literally choked me when fastened. I typically go with large for hoods, but this felt like a medium or small to me. I returned that one to exchange for an x-large [...].The x-large didn't choke me, but it was still a tad small, and stitched together unevenly. If I centered the hood on my head, the chin strap couldn't fasten straight, and there was asymmetrical coverage of each side of my face. It just felt awkward and uncomfortable, for example, to have one ear completely covered and the other only halfway so. If I rearranged the hood to feel more balanced, then the seams ended up running in weird diagonal directions and it still felt strange.Overall, I was very displeased with this hood just based on the fit and poor craftsmanship. I have other good Akona products, so I don't know what went wrong with this one. I returned the second hood for a refund and purchased a Bare Neo Beanie instead (much better!).

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was quick, and the PFF exchange went smoothly as could be. After nearly two weeks, however, I still have yet to receive any notice or refund on the second hood.
