Whats in the box:Pair of Velocity Fins

Small and light weight, yet extremely efficient, the Velocity Full Foot Fins feature our unique Power Enhancing Vents (PEV's) for reduced leg stress and increased velocity. During the fin stroke, water flow is directed through the PEV's. This helps reduce the stress on the divers leg while accelerating water over the blade; resulting in increased velocity. Water movement through the PEV's reduce lateral movement of the fin (wasted energy), increasing the efficiency of the kick.

Made from advanced composite materials for ideal flex and memory, with an ergonomically designed foot pocket and weighing in at only 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg) per pair, the Velocity Full Foot fins are the ideal SCUBA or snorkeling fin for the traveler. Try a pair for yourself and find out what we mean by "designed for velocity". Fins come with a 12 month limited warranty. These Fins are currently on closeout. These are the non-textured version

I've spearfished in lakes with my old Velocities for 5-6 years. They are still good despite having to patch a couple of heel splits with Shoe-Goo last year. They are quick and effortless allowing long swims without any leg fatigue. Provide best surface swimming of any fins tried. Split fins, jets, stiff blades, hinged blades - all require much more effort and quickly tire my legs or hurt my ankles. Since they have no buckles, they never drag seaweed or other debris; but the holes in the blades sometimes get caught on small fixed objects.

They flop so much they're useless. Kicking at 10% they bend completely over themselves. Waste of money, kicking energy, etc. Made for someone with the weakest legs on the planet.
MAYBE they could be good for swimming around more gently at a super ridiculously slow "velocity," but that velocity is so slow you might as well just not even use fins. Anything close to a full kick stroke will bend these back over themselves so much its kind of funny.

I snorkel wherever/whenever I can from lakes to tropical reefs... not sure what determines someone being "advanced" but I can swim well, and want fins that make you swim faster, which these cannot really do.

Comments about Aeris Velocity Full Foot Fins:

I love the fins. They were recommended by the online professional and she was right. They are lighter than others , colorful so they will be easy to find, comfortable. I will use them on my next trip instead of my old, full of dry rot, black ones.

I use this product to swim daily laps in a public pool along with mask and snorkel. I do not use product to scuba dive -- have larger Aeris scuba fins for scuba.

Used these fins to do some snorkeling in cozumel. They fit well and were very powerful against the ruff current and waves.

Comments about Aeris Velocity Full Foot Fins:

Just returned from a Trip to Maui. I snorkeled half a dozen times with these fins on that trip. I had zero issues. The fit is not as tight as other fins I have but these do not slip. I find the looser fit is more comfortable and easier to get them off and on in the water. I think this will become my fin of choice over a TUSA Split fin and an older heavy CordaFLex pair I have. The fin seems efficent and I can tread water better than with my split fins. I had no foot cramping.

Comments about Aeris Velocity Full Foot Fins:

This is a very flexible fin that is easy on the ankles and calves. It is great for calm water but would probably not be efficient in a heavy current
