Comments about Aeris EX 100 Jacket Style BCD with QLR Weight Pockets, Black:

I purchased this BCD on a recommendation of Scuba Pro online chat. They hit the nail on the head. The vest fit and worked perfectly. It was comfortable, the weight pockets were large enough to allow for ample weight for my size. Just used it in the Florida Keys. I would recommend this to anyone.

I ordered this as a package. Dilivered to my door step in Sri Lanka. Excellent BCD. It has a large bladder able to have excellent bouyancy control. Ruggered and able to handle rough use. Works well. Super Price. Great service by LP.

Comments about Aeris EX 100 Jacket Style BCD with QLR Weight Pockets, Black:

My first ever BC - I was so excited to actually dive with this thing. It really is an awesome BC for the cost and for the comfort and overall quality.

I don't know if my BC tank strap is defective or if it is just of really poor design. The strap is heavy nylon / velcro with a plastic "wratchet" type clasp. The thing doesn't work. It just doesn't work. On opening the clasp for the first time and trying to get the strap around the tank I found that the strap didn't fit. It just would not go over the tank. The instructions said specifically not to adjust the strap's weaving through the clasp. I could find no other way to loosen the strap so I disobeyed the instruction guide and loosened it a bit. Now I can't get the tank strap tight enough. On 3 of my 5 dives my tank slipped out completely on the walk to the water making me look like some kind of idiot. I was told I should wet my BC before putting the tank on - and it did help on the other 2 dives, but the tank still slid down from where I originally set it.

I just really wish there would have been either better instructions, or just an overall better tank strap for this bc - because I love it in every other capacity.

Comments about Aeris EX 100 Jacket Style BCD with QLR Weight Pockets, Black:

I purchased this for my son as he had outgrown his first BCD (from a lift perspective). I am very pleased with this BCD and he loves it. We have been on about 10 dives in salt and fresh water now and the BCD is performing well. I will point out this item has excellent lift for a small unit which keeps his head well out of the water and improves his comfort level.
