I found this light inside a wreck about a month ago. Somebody must have dropped it, but I found it with a coating of silt, must have been in the wreck at 85' from between a week to a month. Image my surprise when I turned on the switch and it worked perfectly, in fact I'm still using the same batteries I found it with after 2 more wreck dives. It's now my primary light. Its relatively lightweight for a primary and the battery life is good. The illumination is not bad given the size/weight of the light. Its very waterproof and has an excellent switch design.

This is a good light for some just needing a light for looking around. Im personally a spearfisherman and found this to be a bit bulky and heavy for my type of diving. I use in with the coil lanyard and usually get to the bottom and try to find only to realize it has came out of my pocket and is dragging along. For me to use it to spot fish and shoot them is nearly impossible. I have to hold the light with one hand and rest the gun across the bottom cause the combined weight of the speargun and light is too much to fire into caves. the size of this is just too much for someone that need sto be streamlined in the water. If I could put this power output into a smaller package it would be the perfect light. If your needing a light for a good price just to look at the pretty fish and cave dive. i would buy this in a heart beat. The 2 output setting are great on them merky days or when the sunlight is just starting to fade.

Do not buy. The switch design is horrible. I switched the light on and off about 4 times before even entering the water and the internal mechanism broke. Good prices don't always mean good deals. Almost missed my night dive class. Now I have 2 primary UK's and 2 secondary UK's. Used on 20+ dives no issues yet. C8, D8, SL4.

Used for dive rescue applications. Light is very bright and the two settings are handy. Light switch is easy to use and has good safety features. Looks and feels to be well made.
