A good light for the money. Has dual filament bulb versus dual bulbs. That gives some redundancy, if one filament burns out, but not if the bulb itself is damaged/broken from environmental stresses (water, shock). The batteries last about what I would expect. It's good for recreational diving. But, it pales when compared to canister lights (which cost hundreds of dollars).

This light works great...until the trigger mechanism breaks. This is the second light I have bought and the first one worked until the plastic switch broke on the inside. I also know that this is happened to my dive buddy with the exact same light. I do have to say that I got about 100 night dives out of the light before it broke, so it did get some fair amount of use. Only recommend it b/c it is not that expensive of a light.

Comments about Princeton Tec, Miniwave II Dive Light:
Bought this light for my wife to use in Bonaire on some night dives and she seemed to really like it. It has a bright focused beam and really lit things up well for us.

Too big for wreck diving

About Me Casual/ Recreational
Was meaning to use for primary torch in a wreck dive, however it is too bulky and provides only the same light as the Pelican Nemo 2400 Flashlight.
Night dive torch

I needed a replacement primary torch for a liveaboard trip and this light is small, light and gives a nice beam. The dual intensity bulb is welcomed however the switch to activate it is difficult with gloves on. The switch more readily goes to activate the bright beam.
excellent light!!!

this is ane excellent diving light when it comes to night diving or cave diing, its not as bright as an led diving light but it has a really high intensity,i recently use it in deep wreck penetration in tacoma reef in miami beach and the light performance was awesome!!i really recommend this product
Great light, but batteries drain quickly

Great light and fairly compact. The only major complaint I have is the short battery life. You only get about an hour or so of high intensity, bright light with four fully charged batteries. Then it dims until the batteries are replaced.
