Not the Greatest Suit I've Owned...

First, I own a 7mm Bare Elastek Suit which offers more maneuverability than this suit does. The Elastek suit is also much more comfortable having that "second skin" feeling. Back to this suit, however. I didn't like this suit for a few reasons. It definitely traps too much air which caused me to increase my weight from my normal 10 pounds to 18 pounds. I just could not sink in this suit. This obviously caused me to burn through air a little faster than I'd like. It can't be a bad suit as mostly all the reviews I've seen on this site are positive, but among the divemasters and instructors I've talked to, none would use this suit with any regularity.

Comments about Pinnacle Merino-Elastiprene 3mm Jumpsuit Mens:
Bought this wetsuit because I was tired of using the loaners at dive shops...I didnt know wet suits could be so good. Very confortable fit with tons of stretch. Keeps you warm but doesn't overheat. Overall excellent suit for tropic diving at around 26C.

About Me Professional
So my dad and I each bought a M/E 3 and this review is for the other one. See my other review for comments. It's a steal.
Believe the hype
I had heard a lot of great things about Pinnacle, and everyone is confused about their split with Zeagle, but this suit delivers. Extremely warm for a 3mil, great seals, a nice thick spine pad, and durable exterior make it the best suit I've ever used. Hopefully the company will stay in business and keep producing their wonderful product.I will say that the sizes run a bit small. I'm a size Small in Henderson/Scubapro, but a Medium in Pinnacle sizes. Out of the box the suit was about 8lbs positively buoyant, but I am not sure how much that will change with compression.

Bad quality, fit & customer support
By Scuba Steve

I purchased 4 of these wetsuits for my dive centre staff, 2 each 3mm and 5mm. One of the 5mm was not Merino lined as it was not in stock in the required size. All staff were measured carefully as we are not in the continental USA [...] The suits for all three persons were at least 1 if not 2 sizes too small. We had to return every suit [...] this time having selected suits two sizes bigger (according to the size chart they should be way too big for us), the suits fitted OK.Second time out on one of the 3mm (mens), the zipper broke. Returned to Zeagle (another US[$] in shipping) and they REPAIRED the zipper on a wetsuit less than two weeks old [...].We have now had these suits about 4 months and have had almost every suit suffer zipper failures.Even though the suits are washed evey time they are used they look faded and worn after just 4 months (sea use not pool). The suits these replaced were generic chinese wetsuits (branded Procella) cheap as chips, and they lasted almost 4 years in daily use (we run a resort dive centre in the Caribbean). These wetsuits are expensive, poorly made, incorrectly sized and wear very quickly. I regret purchasing them and will look elsewhere for our next staff wetsuits.

The fit was way off even though I did all the measurements and followed the fitting chart. The suit arrived and would not fit properly.
