Ronald N I have a Pinnacle Elite with a heavy spine flap on the zipper. I like the suit but the flap makes it almost impossible to zip without asking for help to tuck it in. My question is how easy is the Pinnacle Cruiser 7 to zip by yourself?
DAVID V Yep, same flap. Great suit, but I do need my buddy to give me a zip. Otherwise, the zipper eats the neoprene on the flap.
RALPH S I still have to have my dive partner tuck in the flap. Something about the middle section of my back it seems to "stall out".
DAVID B Difficult, but possible. The zipper tends to get caught in the spline. I have found this to be the case with nearly every suit I own and I have broken zippers attempting it alone.
It is a good suit that will last without the stress on the zipper. Get someone to help you and save the aggravation.
Hope this helped.
IGOR A Yep, that seems to be the problem with 7 mm suit at the budget price. I have to ask my body for help or try to move my shoulder blades together in a tricky effort to close the zipper. But after all it does not bother me much, because it is a heavy cold water suit. My very old 7 mm Akona suit did not have that problem, since they used thinner flap.
TERRY F the cruiser has the same spine pad, but since diving should not be a solo sport asking your buddy for help is just part if the dive experance.
