Earlier in 2012 I bought the Oceanic Veo 1.0 computer here and really enjoyed its simplicity and value. So it was nice to get Oceanic BC, regs
Used in 6 dives so far on the tropical island I live on and here's impressions so far:

-The integrated pockets are superb, unlike my friends- no weight belt for me!
-Large horitzontal zipper pocket and vertical non-zipper pocket to tuck away your reg while transporting, so doesn't get scratched up.
-The venturi (pre-dive/dive) switch is great to prevent free-flowing.

I bought this product specifically for a trip with some friends down around Turks & Caicos. Let me tell you...IT WAS AMAZING. This gear us supurb for the beginner, and you can't beat the price. One of my friends was also a beginner and bought some used gear from pawn shops and local divers getting rid of gear and he had problams galore.

The regulator 1st & 2nd stage are top notch. The dive computer takes maybe an hour at most to figure out and set up. The BCD is awesome for most everyday dive use, and the octo... well, the octo is an Oceanic Alpha 8 so what else can be said? I'm sure if I had needed to use it beyond testing it, then it would have been there for me and my buddy.

If you're just looking for a great package for a great price for your first set-up, you can't beat this...seriously.

This is the best beginners' scuba gear ever. For its price, there is no more you can ask for. The dive computer seats on perfectly in a way you don't even have to remove it from the BCD to see it and it is very easy to use. It lacks from audible alarms and light, for me the audible alarm feature has been a necessity because sometimes you ascend too fast without noticing. The BCD is very comfortable, although it doesn't have lots of hangers and pockets, but like I mentioned before, it is a beginners gear. The integrated weight system it's a plus when it comes to comfort. The second stage is really easy to breathe trough and you can regulate the resistance to your preference. Overall it is a great product for its price.

Excellent first scuba gear. Bc is great, very comfortable and integrated weights feels great the only thing i didnt like about this bc is that for hoisting the tank is kind of hard specially if you have integrated weight cause it doesnt have the small belt at the top of the BC to position and level the bc to the tank before hoisting it. The regulator is awesome very easy breathing, you can adjust the difficulty to breath. The computer is very easy to use. The price is just stupid for the quality of product.
