The reviews say: "1st Stage is unbalanced which takes a little getting used to at depth." What does "unbalanced" mean? I never go below 25 meters (or about 75 ft); does it matter for me?
A balanced regulator maintains a steady inhalation effort as you descend. As you get deeper with an unbalanced regulator, it gets harder to draw a breath. At 75 feet you won't really have to worry about this too much. You might notice a slight increase in difficulty, but it won't be like you're having to fight for a breath.
