Tried them in my pool for the first time The Mask Is awesome. fit and felt great the communication was Horrible. I was really disappointed. My daughter and I couldn't understand each other at all. Now I'm thinking how can they sell junk like this??? Yup I'm thinking again, maybe it's the pool being above ground and being steel. or even fresh water? The next day me my wife and daughter did an ocean dive. Man what a difference that was. Communication was great we can here each other. we separated of a distance of about 50 to 70 feet. No problem at all.

Great mask.Comfortable to dive with,nice fit.
My usual sinus problems dissapeared over night because breathing through the nose.BUT,you WILL use more air,maybe as much as 50%,and it fogs so it`s mandatory to use antifog before ANY dive.Try to avoid the surface valve before the dive,the fogging can continue well into the dive.Nose plugs were no problem from the start.

I am a part time recovery diver for stone quarries and gravel pits. Conditions are usually very strenuous (dragging heavy cables and trying to find hook points in 0 viz),but this mask performed excellent. In fact the only complaint i had was the directional port came off and was lost. One call to Ocean Reef and they sent me another at no cost and no hassle. This mask never fogged even when i hit the thermo (50 F). Very impressive. If you plan on doing this type of diving i highly recommend also getting the 48" quick disconnect hose. The length allows you to position the hose under your arm and out of the way. I have nothing but praise for this mask and the GSM communication kit that i purchased with it.

This is an excellant piece of equipment. You get increased vision and comfort. It is nice to be able to breath like your on land, it also keeps your face warm in cold water dives. I have been diving this mask for a year and had no problems. However this is not a mask you dive out of the box. It takes some training and getting used to. Also if wearing a hood, you need to get one that has a smaller face opening to get a good seal. No hood, no problem

I've only used this mask five times in open water at the time of this review, but I already love it. It's easy to put on and adjust, and makes diving so much more comfortable than with a second-stage in your mouth. It takes a little getting used to, but once you figure it out it's great. The facemask fogs quit easily at the surface but clears within 6 or 7 breaths once you start breathing through the regulator. I purchased the quick disconnect hose for it and am glad that I did. The only difficult thing is getting the two "nose plugs" to align up correctly for clearing your ears...but since I can clear my ears by adjusting my jaw I don't really have to deal with this problem. I bought one for my wife also, and though we don't have the communication systems for them yet, because there is a pocket of air in front of your mouth, we can talk to each other underwater if we are very close.
Visibility is excellent with the full face mask!!
