I like it, used it on a navigation certification dive very convenient with the compass. All the information I need close by. Also easy to show buddy upon request. Overall, I am very happy with my Oceanic VEO 4.0

Operational depth readout is 330' (100 meters) with the gauge depth readout is 399' (120 meters)

Q&A

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

JOHN P  Can I pop the Veo 4.0 wristband, and pop it into a standard "hockey puck" console?  I want to replace a Veo 100 in my current setup
JOE S  if you are looking to order a Veo 4.0 to put into a console there is a version that is just the module without the wrist boot. The wrist version might fit, but the module made for the wrist has legs on it for the straps. The correct module for the hose mounted boot is 04.3800.67 Veo 4.0 Module (No Legs)
NEAL L  That is EXACTLY what I did. I put the puck into a hose mount. No problem.
WILLIAM Z  at what depth does the safety stop countdown begin?  Some computers start at20' others 18' but some only start at15'  Thanks
Mario C  It will count down the safety stop timer between 20' - 10' and can be changed from 3 minutes to 5 minutes if you like.
STEPHEN M  The actual answer is 15 feet. The computers are giving a more conservative answer with 18' and 20'. Check the settings on your computer they may be set for a more conservative response.stay safe and have fun.
JOE S  It will count down the safety stop timer between 20' - 10' and can be changed from 3 minutes to 5 minutes if you like.
KRISTOPHER A  20’ is when mine starts, and will give you an alert when the 3 minute countdown begins.
XUE L  20’
Shopper  Is the safety stop countdown in seconds or minutes?
JOE S  Minutes and seconds 3:00
PAUL S  The safety stop countdown is in seconds.
NEAL L  Minutes and seconds - 2:30 for example
dan z  What is the nitrox range?
JOE S  up to 100%. This and other features and details are listed in the product description.
ERIC H  The settings range from 21% to 100%.
STEPHEN M  Check the specifications on the Oceanic website. You are using mixed gas, NEVER take anyone's word for it.
TODD B  Per the manual: FO2 set point range is 21% to 100%, PO2 Value 0.00 to 5.00 ATA
NEAL L  My memory is 21 - 50%. I only dive 32%. Go to the Oceanic specs, they will have the range listed.
CHAIM L  Is there a compass? I put class in my search criteria but sont see it listed in features?
Mario C  thank you Joe!!
JOE S  There is no compass on the wrist unit. The Console can have an analog compass added to it. There's a three gauge called the Nav Con as well.
