Shopper I have the Veo 1.0 (pressure guage and computer). Will this compass fit my console?

WILLIAM S The compass pictured fit my Oceanic SWIV console. My SWIV console accomodates the pressure guage and a computer with space for this compass on the back side.

LeisurePro S Yes, the SWIV compass fits with the VEO100 console.

Shopper I have the Oceanic Maxdepth Combo Double Guage " old style" part # OCNMDC, will this fit in the opening in the back?

LeisurePro S You will need OCNSSCM which is designed for older consoles; SWIV is the newer version.

Shopper I purchased the Oceanic Veo 180 Double Gauge Dive Computer not quite 2 years ago and am wondering if this compass will fit into my computer?

Used it for my AOW certification and it worked. The one thing I don't like about is the lobed/wide south pole marker. I prefer a needle because it gives a more accurate visual cue. Of course, you can just look at the degrees and get the same thing.

That's my only complaint, overall it works well.

O, and it does fit perfectly in the Oceanic SWIV console, as advertised... took me a few tries to get it in straight though.

White background on floating portion is harder to read than a black background. Is slow to respond.

Compass Thrown Off by Dive Computer

The compass rose is off approximately 60 degrees. When I take it out of the console, and it is not up against the VEO 100 dive computer, it is accurate. As soon as I put them together in the boot, North swings 60 degrees right, making the compass inaccurate and unusable?
