I love the way this little knife attaches to my BC.

However, the attachment process is flawed. The unit comes with a plastic mounting plate and 2 screws with very small heads. The plate goes inside the Oceanic Probe BC knife pocket. The screws go through the plate into the knife sheath from the backside. So far so good.

The first time you aggressively reach for the knife and go to withdraw it the screws pull through the the plate and the whole thing, knife and sheath, comes off in your hand. If you are unlucky you may lose the plate as well.

The solution is simple. Get your own stainless steel screws with much larger heads and you'll be fine. But for this price you should not have to provide your own parts.

Great knife but I got one for my son that had a lock on it. Not sure if that a new model or an old but nice feature. Mine does not have a lock on it but so far have not needed one. Stays right where I need it and it has never rusted which is a plus.

The holder for this is horrible, I have a Oceanic Probe my wife has the Hera the holders barely stayed on BC for even a few dives and came off in bags at different times. Horrible design
