I wanted diving computer which I could wear also everyday as a watch. It serves the purpose perfectly. With watch/computer there is no need to worry about forgetting your diving computer – it is always there on your hand. It has a feature to automatically turn on as dive computer when you get under the water. So again turning it on is off your mind. It has many features including 2 gas air and nitrox programming. It is easy to read under the water during the day and night with light button to illuminate the face. There is a wrist band extension that is easy to add should you require it over your wetsuit. Logbook feature keeps the record of your several recent dives with number of dives remembered depends on your sampling rate settings. It counts down time from your last dive. It tells you too when you can fly. This watch really takes a lot out of your mind doing all the calculations for you so you can just go out diving worry free. It shows you nitrogen accumulation in your body with surface time in between consecutive dives, shows you deco stop timer, ascent speed and water temperature... It has plenty of audio and visual alarms. As long as you understand the principles of diving, this computer is your ideal safety watchdog. However, the manual that comes with the watch/computer is difficult to understand at first and it is not very user friendly. It is in my opinion the only down side of this watch/computer. You need to take time and do online class to learn how to go through the screens and functions to well understand principals behind it. Unfortunately, you have to have internet access to take class or refresh your knowledge what is not always available where you dive. It would be nice to have CD or possibility to download the online class to your PC or smart phone to refresh your knowledge when traveling to your dive site. It comes with optional communication cable which you can use to download profile of your dive to your PC but I find this cable a little pricy ($90-$100)!!!
Overall, I am happy with the Oceanic GEO2 Dive Computer.

I'm an 12 year experienced diver, Ive done it all, this product is a very good looking computer, but in less than a year the lightning started to fade until malfunction, the clock ran late every two weeks and the temperature gauge was very inaccurate since the begining. I send it to oceanic and the service was Pro A-1 the changed the chromed ring and fix the product only to malfunctioned once again in less than three months. About the diving functions I have no complaints its a stated of the art diving computer that you can rely up on, but its only those things I mentioned specifically the lighting which gets to your nerves, specially when you are at 80 or 90 feet and gets cloudy up above and you cant see your readings. It could turn dangerous.

Good computer but complicated--definitely need to be familiar with it before diving. The basic information (depth, bottom time) are clear and easy to read but other information can be difficult to find at depth.

Comments about Oceanic GEO 2.0 Wrist Computer:

Overall this is a fine wrist-mount computer. The accessory strap extends it to allow wear over drysuits and thicker wetsuit cuffs/gloves, the dial is easy to read and the freediving mode works well. The instruction book is dense and the access to some data requires remembering complex sequences, but this makes a great primary freediving computer or backup for other diving.
