Me and my fiance got certified and have always wanted to scuba, so we decided to purchase our own equipment. I did an extensive amount of research on all kinds of regulators, and believe me when I say that this is one of the best regulators you will get for the price, and from what I can see, it is just as good as the more expensive ones. I cant really speak to the longevity of the regulator as we have only had them for a short time, but I can say that so far its been flawless, and we have been on about 15 dives so far. The regulator is extremely easy to breath through, even when we went to 100 ft. I couldn't feel a difference in breathing from 30 ft to 100 ft, its that easy. The quick adjustment knob and levers are great, as they allow you to make small adjustments in the water without having to remove the regulator from your mouth. One thing to be careful of, when the lever is all the way in the forward position for easier breathing, you cant purge the regulator out of the water or you will trigger a free-flow and loose a bunch of air! I figured that out the hard way. It only happens out of the water though, in the water everything is FANTASTIC!!! If you are looking for a great regulator for a good price and don't want to spend over $600 on one, then this is definitely the way to go!

I bought this regulator last year just before a trip to Roatan and have put nearly 70 dives on it. This regulator is every thing that they say it is. The breathing is effortless and the swivel makes this the most comfortable regulator I've ever used. Hands down the best of the best and worth every penny I paid for it.

performs better than the aqualung legend which i also own and now the legend i on my pony bottle. the eos is the best reg u could by i have over 700 dives in that time i have owned 3 regs, mares, aqualung, and oceanic and the aqualung was my favorite untill tried my friends reg(eos)which i was amaized how easy the breathing was. i was able to breath with no effort at all and that is why eos is better than the legend but the legend is just as good but the eos is better and then i went and got one . This reg is just is good as atomic. but not good for tech diving unless you change the swival. If you are ?ing what to buy, buy what makes you comfortable.
