I purchased the Atom 3.0 complete with transmitter before my dive trip in September. I have been skeptical about the wireless dive computers, but decided to give it a try. I have to say it performed great. I had no issues with keeping a connection between the tank transmitter and the watch. I tend to keep my arms crossed when I am diving and I was able to keep a connection in this position throughout all of my dives. The only time I lost a connection was when I had to adjust my fin strap and when we were trying to get a lion fish. Within a 1-2 seconds of returning my arm back to the normal position in front of my chest, the signal would pick right back up. The features of the watch are great. I love being able to see my air time remaining. Very nice feature. When you first hook up your 1st stage to the tank and turn on the air, all you have to do is just hold down top left mode button for a second and it switches to dive mode and shows you the air pressure. My only complaint is the Oceanic software to download your dives. It definitely needs some refinement. Although once you download the data, you can export it and view it in Excel or any other data application. I found it really neat to see all of the details of the dive. Prior to this computer I had used an Oceanic Geo for 3 years. I found the new Atom to function pretty much the same with the added step back feature that allows you to go forward and backward through menus. Overall I found it pretty simple to use, but I am a pretty technical person. I can understand how some people may find it complicated to use. It is a very feature rich device. Overall I love the device. I would definitely recommend it to others. So far I have only used it on a week long dive trip, so I'll be anxious to see how the reliability is over time.

Dive computer is not intuitive at all. Takes minutes to change setting that should take seconds to preform. If you have a Mac, software that comes with the unit does not work. I nice little app, from the Web I recommend is called MacDive. The program works and graphics are better than the manufactures software.

Should have gotten a Mares Matrix, since I like their dive graph feature.

Comments about Oceanic Atom 3.0 Air Integrated Hoseless Dive Computer Watch (Complete System):

Just took my new Atom 3.0 to Bonaire. I was having link issues between the transmitter and the computer until I realized I was putting the regulator on the tank backwards. That and making sure the transmitter was horizontal as described in the manual took care of my issues. Note that I did email LeisurePro about the issue and they never got back to me, so don't expect any help from them.
As for the computer, they made the 3.0 much easier to navigate (wife has the 2.0). Also you have to try a lot harder to get it into FREE/GAUGE mode which is good because mistakenly doing a dive in that mode will mess up nitrogen loading calculations for 24 hours. The text was real easy to read under water, and the backlight worked well on the 1 night dive we did.
Doesn't get 5 stars because I still have a hard time figuring out the dual time scheme. Other than that it worked great.

Comments about Oceanic Atom 3.0 Air Integrated Hoseless Dive Computer Watch (Complete System):

This watch is my first dive computer and I love it... It was also very easy to learn how to use it. I broke the metal closure piece, called Oceanic and they sent out all new replacement bands in the mail in about a day. Couldn't be happier about that. The only downside is that it does lose signal every once and awhile but quickly reconnects.

Comments about Oceanic Atom 3.0 Air Integrated Hoseless Dive Computer Watch (Complete System):

First it's a bit complicated at the start, but once you play around with and get a few dives with it, its starts to become easy. Also if u do get a hoseless air integrated, recommend just to get a backup air gauge something you can tuck away and forget back which is just in case something happens, like hitting the top of a cave and you snap/break the transmitter on your 1st stage. I was also looking at the OC1 and the atom, and besides the cost there is no difference, except the electronic compass(which are unreliable) and titanium housing. Save the money!
