Shopper Are these good for snorkeling with no boots?
MARK F Like all open heel fins they will be much much more comfortable with boots. If you are only using them without boots I would strongly recommend a full foot fin. That being said; they are good fins and will work without boots fine.
GREGORY B Not in my opinion. The foot pocket is too stiff and I think you would end up with a blister. However you may be able to get away with wearing neoprene socks.
GREG L There not to comfy with out boots, but waring an old pair of thick socks would help.
SCOTT K The fins are fine with booties, but do not think I would recommend without. If not using booties, I would recommend a full foot fin.
DAVID H In my opinion, no. They're great for diving or snorkeling, but you'll need booties. The 'box' is fairly firm with a very square and flat bottom. Otherwise, good fins, and can be used for both activities, but with booties.
MARY O You will need boots for open heel fins they are all made to be worn with boots. Buy "full foot fins" if you wish to purchase no boots. If you are wanting to get serious about snorkeling often or intend to start diving, nice boots and open heel fins are a better investment, you can walk on rough terrain to and from the water with the boots on and put the fins on in the water. You also will not get your heels scraped up by the full foot fin. I own these fins and they are nice.
