I have the JBL D& speargun with the spearpoint that came with my pruchase, Twin Barb Rock Point #842. I would like purchase another spearpoint, what size do I need 6mm or 7mm?

I have a piece of luggage that can fit a speargun that is up to 35 ", can I fit the Carbine D7 if I took the shaft out? I guess my question is "Is the speargun without the shaft 35 inches or less"?
