What would be classified as "Small Prey"
Little fish 1' or less in length that you can get close to e.g. within 8 feet would be a rough idea.
can you put a rope on the gun so you dont lose the spear?
The gun comes with a shockline, which is basically a rope that keeps the spear attached to the gun.
how long is the shockline?
The mini carbine has a reach (total legnth of gun (19"), shaft and shockline) of 6 feet.
whats the best and safe way to cock or load this speargun?
Cocking this gun is pretty straight forward. The band takes a little effort to pull back, but if you have something to place the back of the against it helps. You simply pull the band back towards the back of the gun and hook it around the shaft notch. The trigger releases the shaft from the band and shoots the spear towards the fish.
