Shopper It states the video/ digital camera needs no additional lenses. But then it mentions 3 filters, red, clear, etc... Do I buy this separately or is it included?
RUSSELL H It does not include any filters. In the box it includes the camera, strap, instructions and the charging/syncing cable.
KURT G They are not included, you must purchase seperatly.
DAVID B Camera is exactly as shown The red lens is extra and is necessary for use underwater at depth greater than 25 ft. Just remember to take it off in the shallows.
ALLEN E I don't remember any filters at the time I bought mine.

Shannon S The lense does not distort under water. It does not correct for color, which is what the filters do. I would recommend a red filter for any camera you buy.

ALLEN E I have not tried to mount it. My wife uses it on the end of a flexible line.
DANIEL G I used the helmet mount strap -- but again, I have to stress that this is a product I would never recommend! I returned mine for a store credit since it was a few months old, but failed the FIRST TIME I actually tried to use it on a dive. If you already have one, the helmet strap doesn't work well for snorkeling, it keeps the camera elevated above the water surface.

MARK M I believe it us a year....it's a great camera...takes great pics under water..however you WILL need to get the red filter for it or your pics will.be very very blue...with the red filter you can see the reds blues greens and yellows of the fish and coral.....love the camera
Shopper does it send a signal to a strobe to fire or is there another part needed to trigger a strobe?
ESTHER D I know of no signal sent from the camera to a strobe. This camera is best suited for video at which it works great, but as a still camera it is merely a point and shoot with available light. Just a small bonus added to the video cam. Great video though.
RUSSELL H Honestly, not real sure on your question...bought it as a gift for someone so I never took it out of the wrapper.

MICHAEL T Unfortunately not. There is no built in flash or other mechanism to trigger a strobe. Your only option appears to be always-on video lighting. Intova just released a tray and video lighting system for the Sport Pro.

Shopper where is the battery and how to charge it?
Michael C It has a built in rechargeable battery that recharges through a USB cord.
Shopper Can the housing be replaced if damaged?
Michael C Right now I don't think Intova is selling just replacement housings. If it were to get damaged you would probably have to replace the entire unit including the camera.
