One of the brightest lights I have ever seen. Great for diving or to use on land. It is a big light. But it is worth the weight. Can throw a beam of light fifty yards. I would recommend it to anyone.

Let me start by saying the light is (pretty) good but as far as 800 lumens? nowhere close, I would say 500 on a good day. I have taken it to 60ft for 20 minutes and didnt have any problems with it flooding. In my honest opinion; spend an extra 30$ and buy a UK light cannon.

I originally purchased this torch for backup but it is big as a Maglight 3-Cell. I ended up clipping it to a D ring on my shoulder during a dive and it worked great. The beam is a good medium flood and bluish in color. For the price it is a bargain. I even use it for night walks around the neighborhood and it is very bright. The 800 lumen beam is good for many dive related applications. I like the 2 stage magnetic switch as well.

My Instructor ended up telling me about this dive light. Found it for [$] elsewhere though. Great dive light for a pimary light it almost looks like a 2D-cell Mag-light, but way brighter. Works great both in and out of the water. Tried this light at night out-of-water and my neighboor about messed in his pants thinking I was the police with it; Shines a long way.

Saw this light at DEMA and was floored by the power.
Is this a main light, No. Is this a back-up light, No but it can be both.

It's too big to fit in a normal pocket and on the surface, can be kinda dangly off a D-ring, but not an issue U/W.

3 C size batteries easy to get.
