A S How well did it work? Were you happy with it?
MIKE H This is my third dive camera, for the price you cann't beat it. I'm a shore diver and the water isn't warm enough to try this one out yet.. There is one thing you have to do with any dive camera. Before you dive with the camera in the case always test the hard case without a camera to the depth of your planned dive. If no leaks you are then good to go. The features this camera offers are hard to obtain in this price range, and the brand has a good reputation. As soon as the water warms up I'll know more.
JEFFREY F Havent tried it yet. I will post a review as soon as I do.
ROGER M The product is a good value. Keep in mind if you don't use an external flash the colors all fade to blue after 25 feet or so. Still for the price you can capture video and photos.
DAVID O In general it worked well, and I am happy with it.
However there are a few aspects that could be better. As a camera advertised for underwater use, there is no color balance settings to support the filtering needed for underwater photography. So the pictures come out tinted blue. There may be an external (red) filter available that would help this, although the lens is smaller than most common filters.
The other issue is battery consumption. I pretty much had to replace the batteries before each dive. But I took as many as 80-100 pictures during a dive, so that may be normal for battery life for this camera. The camera starts turning itself off when the batteries get low. It sucks when that starts to happen after only 10 minutes into a second dive.
Bottom line: this camera and housing performed well for the money. You aren't spending $500, and you won't get $500 features.
James B It worked great. We went down maybe 40-50' and the pictures came out much better than I anticipated. Don't bother with macro shots, but regular shots were great. I've got an album of dive pics, including the dive when I proposed to my girlfriend. All captured on film :)
RICH W I'm happy with the camera as a inexpensive, easy to use cam... however, it doesn't do the job that more expensive models do. If you want something that is good for traveling (that's what I use it for) that gives decent pics down to about 10-15 meters, you're good with this. If you want high-end, then go up a few models. I haven't had any problems with it at all-and actually carry the camera in my fanny pack as a backup to my land-based Nikon when I travel. The biggest draw-back I have noticed is the lens port scratches easily.
THOMAS D i bought this camera for a snorkel trip to Belize. It took many great photos. I did have a problem trying to zoom. There are many buttons and I would tend to hit the wrong one, I didn't try it out prior to using it so it was trial and error most of the time. Its great that it floats so you don't need a floating bracelet.
KEVON W Works ok for a low cost camera. Battery live with the flash is very short. I would like it much more with a rechargeable battery. Nice that it doubles as a second land camera when not diving.
JAVIER M Used it during 3 dives (range was 60' - 80'). Acceptable pictures. Battery went dead at the beginning of the third dive ... the comment about eating batteries is true! Recommend changing batteries prior to a dive you want to remember. O/W, fair for the price. Good luck! JAM
MARC W It's a good starter underwater digital camera. The problems I had with it were it wouldn't write to the sd card it came with. Bought a new one and it would write to that one. I found that the batteries would only last maybe a dive or two before they didn't have enough power to operate the screen. Decent seal. It takes good pictures. Better then the $20 35mm underwater camera I bought before this.
JANET M Very easy to use--extremely waterproof on 2 snorkeling trips. Takes great pictures, both underwater and as a regular camera. I really like the ease of the multiple zooms.
Only problem that I have--and I think that it's just due to me being such a beginner snorkeler and too chicken to leave the surface--is that sometimes when taking pictures in the water the screen is difficult to see. Having spoken with a much more experienced diver/photographer, I understand that if I were down farther from the surface I would probably not be having that problem.
But, yes, I would purchase another Intova, and I definitely recommend this camera.
ROBERT T The camera worked as advertised. The only criticism, if you want to call it that, is that you have to wait between pictures. You cannot snap, snap, snap. There is probably a 5 second lag time between frames.
Other than that it worked well and for the price it is a good buy
WILLIAM W I have been very happy with it. I have used it twice, once in a quarry I go to and once in the carribean. For what I paid for it and the pcitures it takes I don't think I could beat it. Of course, its not like an SLR, but it does the job.
MATTHEW F It's ok for snapshots in clear, shallow water where there's more natural light. If you're serious about getting some higher quality shots though, this is not the camera for you. Overall photo quality is about on par with a disposable film camera. Also eats up AAA batteries in no time.
JEFF T It is a great camera for the price. Make no mistake that it's anything more than a point and shoot, but for the money, it's hard to beat. Worry free, easy to use, no frills. The photos turned out pretty nice but it could benefit from the ability to attach a red filter for some color correction.

LARYSA F While I haven't used it in the water, I tested the camera alone and the picture came out really clear and crisp. We also tested the camera housing by weighing it down in a full bathtub overnight and there were no leaks found the next morning. I am happy with my purchase
MICHAEL W It's a very basic little camera. We liked it, especially for the price. I suggest getting rechargeable batteries, and be sure to charge them after each day of diving. I will eventually buy a better camera, but for now, it's working fine for what I need. My dad loves on Bonaire, so he and his wife have a really good camera, but my pics come out pretty well too.
ERIC O I bought this camera for a dive trip to Cura?ao and took it to about 110 feet deep with no problems. Very good quality photos above and below the surface. It's easy to use, but practice above water first so you'll know which button is which. For underwater use, change batteries every day. I'd recommend it as a good and durable underwater camera, but not for professionals.
