Comments about Ikelite PC-M LED Light:
I have been using these Ikelite PCm lights for a while, both the halogen and now the LED versions. We have never had a flood. Burn time is very long. Beam pattern is just right for night diving or peeking in dark holes. This light runs well on 4 NiMH rechargeables, the ideal battery setup in my opinion. You can run Alkalines too for maximum flexibility.Loading the batteries is just a little tricky. You have to assemble them into a loose pack then slide them up into the light. This is a compromise that yields the smallest possible size so I consider it worthwhile but practice a couple of times at home before you have to do it at the dive site. :-)The switch does not have a safety to prevent unintentional activation so put a rubber band around it or something for travel.

Very good (if pricey) product. The only bad thing about this light is the switch, which is not so immediate to use. I personally prefer lights with a sliding switch.

we used it as a primamry light on night dives. It was small which is good for travel but bright enof to use as primary light!
Lightest Dive Light Great primary

I'm really happy I bought this dive light! I was looking for the lightest weight smallest dive light that would work OK for peering into dark places. Just got back from Cozumel and had this little champion down over 100 feet many times... (Devil's Throat etc.) and it worked just great as a primary dive light. Small, very compact, very light, yet surprisingly bright. I would use it as a primary on a night dive. I like it so much, I'm planning on buying a 2nd one just like it!
Works well, but overpriced

I really like this light, it met all the specs that I was looking for, 4 AA batteries, high intensity, LED technology, great warranty.
