Shopper Would u recommend this compared to a pinnacle 7mm hood?
BRAD G I recommend this hood. The hyperstretch hood goes on very easily. It is a 7mm hood, so it is thick and will keep you warm. It has a lot of flex, so it doesn't squeeze your head or restrict movement. I am able to turn my head or look around with ease. Also, I wear my mask strap under the hood. It is very easy to pull the hood back if needed, either under water or on the surface.
STEVE N I would go with the Henderson. Thier hyperstretch material is much better especially around the neck so you don't get that squeeze.
Hope this helps,
-Steve
DEBORAH M The Henderson titanium hood is great! I wore it in January in Cabo in 50 degree water and kept toasty warm. The stretch was so much more comfortable than my old Aqualung hood. It moves with you when you turn your head.
STEPHEN R Since I have never tried the Pinnecale hood, I do not know much about it. The Henderson is good because it is a combo mm hood. This hood has a thinner material around the face work better with me because I do not like the tight feeling around my face. It seems to seal better. Since it is a hyper stretch material it is really comfortable. My hood is a dry hood and does not have a skirt. The only draw back I see is that this one has a big skirt. The big skirt will keep the hood tucked in, but you will probably have to dawn the hood first, before you put the wet suit on, depending on the wet suit.My Henderson dry hood keeps be very warm.
