These are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever used. If I could, I would wear them around my house as a slipper. There is ample support for getting to and from the beach and they provide the warmth I need for cold water dives.

Though in theory it is nice not to have a zipper on your boots, these boots negate that benefit by having a seam inside that is so rough that it causes you to have open sores on the back of your ankle and over your instep within 2 dives. If you have to tromp around on land much or do a surface swim before your dive, it only gets worse. I have tried multiple times with these boots because they are so warm, and otherwise nice, but every single time I get the same painful result.

The cut of these boots is such that there is an inside seam the connects the piece that makes the foot with the ankle piece, and no attempt was made by the manufacturer to make it a flat seam. Instead, it is stitched so that it sticks out, into and around the whole ankle, and is hard (because of the thread, or the glue to help seal the seam?), which essentially scrapes your skin as you kick, or walk, or do anything that moves your foot. I would never recommend these boots to anyone who wants to do repetitive dives because of that. I may look for a solution to cover the seam, but until then, I will stick with my worn out, 1 size too small, broken zipper, low quality old dive boots.
