Shopper how long can you breathe under water with this?
JEFFREY E This device is designed as an emergency backup for SCUBA divers. If you are a diver, you know that the amount of time which you can breathe from a compressed air cylinder is dependent on your air consumption rate and the depth at which you are breathing from it. This air source comes with a 6 cubic foot bottle, so for example, if your air consumption rate is 1/2 cubic foot per minute at the surface, this would last you a maximum of 12 minutes at the surface, 6 minutes at 33 fsw, 4 minutes at 66fsw, and so on. If you are not a SCUBA diver, do not breathe from a compressed air source without proper training.
HIMANSHU G It is enough to bail you out from 100' and do a 3-4 minute safety stop. Of course, depends on how many breaths you take in the deep!
KENNETH G The answer depends on your initial depth. As a matter of safety I recommend that you always use the H2O as a last resort. Buddy breath if at all possible From a depth of 60 feet if you do an immediate assent to 15 feet and do not panic and breath excessively you should be able to complete a safety stop. Everyone uses air at a different pace so results will vary. You should test the equipment to know your limits. Do not consider the H2O as addition bottom time!
STEPHEN S That all depends one's SAC rate and depth. Keeping in mind that this kit comes with a 6cft tank if one had a SAC rate of .8 then it would last 7.5 min. at the surface or 3.75 min. @ 2ATA (33") etc. It is an addaquate bailout for shallower diving, not suitable for deep diving.

ROBERT J It depends on your air consumption. You can certainly easily surface if you run out at a recreational depth. In shallow water (5-15 ft) I have used it for approximately 15 minutes.
DANIEL K this is just the 1&2nd stage. so without a tank you won't be able to breathe at all.
DONNIE C That's a tough question because it depends on your depth and your personal consumption. What it is designed to do is to act as a backup when everything goes wrong. You're probably not going to be breathing at your normal rate. If you need it, you're in open water and you're diving within recreational limits, it should still get you back to the surface with a normal ascent and a normal safety stop.
