Shopper Is this regulator a good choice for cold water ?
THIERRY D Hi,
I am afraid I can't answer this question because I used my regulator in warm/lukewarm waters.
Our friends from LeisurePro have a large range of excellent regulators that should work fine, like their Subapro MK17 or MK25 or any other brand they may recommend.
Enjoy !
CHAD G The coldest water I was in with that reg was about 30 degrees and I had no problems it didn't freeze up on me
JIMMY S I have used the regulator in as cold water as 40F without any troubles..
PETR V work fine in cold water.Just make shure you have a service near by becouse you have exchange gaskets once a year
PETE S I have purchased several of these regulators. Two are being used in Monterey Bay, avg. water temp 59. Two are being used in washington state, avg temp. 50. No one has told me of any problems what-so-ever. Good luck and safe diveing. P. Sanders Calif.
MIKE H I can not say. I live and dive in Kauai. Sorry I couldn't help. But I do like the regulator.
RICHARD T I have used this regulator going on four years now with no issues. All of my diving has been in florida waters though. I would recommend this for sure
MERRICK G Yes, I have had no problems with it in the cold or warm water.
JOHN I I've used mine several times in water off the Massachusetts coast down into the low 50s F. I suppose it matters what you mean by "cold" but I've had no issues in what *I* consider cold!
