Is this a good DVD to understand what it takes to become certified?
This DVD is more about snorkeling than diving. If you are interested in learning more about the diving certification process, I would look into buying the open water DVD (product DVDOWD) which is the video used for the certification training. It will take you through all the parts of diving and you can decide if it's something you would be interested in and wanted to commit to the coursework for.
