These fins are good no doubt about it I have grown to love them. When I first go them and started using them in my open water course they were stiff and hard on my knees and shins, however the ended up being a godsend in my rescue diving class as they produce large amounts of power capable of towing even the largest divers and cutting through the heaviest surf. Also it should be mentioned that they have become much less stiff overtime and are comfortable with my knees and shins. If you have the time and patience to work with these fins they are an excelent purchase.

I was looking for a fin that was stiffer than my split fins. I do a lot of beach diving and this involves swimming long distances on the surface. These fins allow me to swim faster using the bicycle kick than my split fins would. It is also easier to swim against any surge or current on the bottom. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe size and I ordered the large fins. I can wear a bootie with a thin sole and they fit fine. I can't use them with a thick soled bootie. I would suggest going up a size like the web site says if you have a thick soled bootie.

I use mine for belly boat fishing. My old pair of Deep See fins lasted over 20 years. They get a lot of hard kicking when I have to move into the wind. Many days I'm out for 4+ hours and the fins remain comfortable whether kicking lightly or when I have to push into a wind. Excellent fin for the money. Perfect for my use. Replaced a pair of 'Force Fins' ($160+) with these and I find these far superior in propulsion and comfort.

excelent fins ,for the price you can't go wrong,i own 2 pairs of these.one for travel one for local diving. these fins would last a long time,the only thing you might have to replace after years are the straps (with most open heel you have too,anyway)
