Back strap would work its way off my heel no matter how tight i made it. not sure if this was the fin's fault or the bootie's. these were very fast and i was able to keep up with sharks, turtles, and other fish with ease.

I got the size for the shoes I wear. My boots didn't fit at all. Leisurepro was good with exchanges so I got the larger size, and they barely fit. Didn't try them out until a month later, and they don't work for me. Very uncomfortable, squeezes feet, foot-pocket is way too small for boots. They broke later when the buckles collapsed under the stress of a large boot, oh well.

They look cool and are cheap, but not for cold water. neoprene strap is cool too-probably best used without boots.

My wife tried these. She got quite a workout. They barely accepted her size 8 Tusa boots. They float too well. Her fins were coming out of the water, very splashy. They were so buoyant, it was hard for her to dive. Foot bobbers, that's what they were. 8-)
These might suffice for kids in the pool. They're not for drifting reefs.

I purchased the black translucent fins and these fins are not huge but they are of decent size I would say 12inch fins not including the foot area. I wear put them on barefoot and they fit great. The band is padded in the back which is an added plus.
