Stephanie H I bought a 7mm semi-dry suit and I cannot seem to find a hood that goes with it. Should I buy a dry hood or something like this instead of a regular wetsuit hood?
WILLIAM B Dry suit hoods are cut to the bottom of the neck and they are wet hoods. I prefer this type of hood even with a wet suit because it is less restrictive. It will leak some cold water around the neck, but i don't mind because i'm not ice diving.
MARK J I bought this hood for my dry suit and works flawlessly. It fits comfortably because of the stretch and keeps me warm in the cool waters of the NW. Should it ever fail, I will buy it again.
DAWN G We bought this hood so that we could use it with a dry suit and a wet suit. Hope that helps. We love it. Very comfortable and warm when in cold water.
LAWRENCE M I use this hood with a DUI drysuit. I had been using a dry suit hood, but this one I thought would work much better so I bought it. It has worked much better, I would highly recommend it. I dive cold water, northern California, but have never felt my head cold. It is one of the best hoods I ever used.
