Melissa C I'd like to know if the neck seal works well? This suit dose not seem like it has much of one compaired to some others?
Thanks
jeff j The neck seal is very well designed and accommodates various sizes; it all just depends on how you position the G-lock flap at the neck. Out of the three different suits I have used this one has, by far, the best seals--and that includes the neck.
BRENDA S Leisurepro never sent me the suit I asked for, the Camero Stingray...Without asking me they sent a different brand that had a back zip ...nothing like the Camero. When I called customer service they said they were out! Ordered it from Sierra Trading Post. Love the suit! The neck seal seemed fine with the rubber "G-lock zipper ". This is my first suit so I don't have much to compare it to.
ANNAROSE A The neck seal is fantastic. It's not constricting, but it definitely seals well. It is made of thinner material than the rest of the wetsuit (the same material you find at the wrist and ankle cuffs inside the wetsuit) If you are wearing a hood, your seal will be much better if you are wearing a hoodie vest than if you are wearing a hood only; the bunching up from the hood if it is not put in right can open the seal.
In general, this wetsuit has a really really good seal to it. I wore it for the first time while I was doing scientific scuba diving in Western Australia for the past two months. Sometimes I was getting to warm and would open the suit to let cold water flush, but even then the seal was so good around my body, opening the suit barely cooled me off! This is a good sign that it really seals in heat.
