Well, I got this as a gift and when I checked out the price I was really surprised. I mean over $100 for a small little light! Well after using it for a dozen dives (day and night) all I can say is that this little light is worth every penny. It is a good backup, primary or anything else you want to use it for. I haven't seen anything on the market that can touch it. A definite must have light. To bad there are only 5 flags to give because this light is a 10.

Used this light on a night dive in Cozumel. My brother had one also and I could always tell where he was by the intensity of this little light compared to all the other divers lights. After the dive our dive master wrote down the info on our lights so he could get one for himself! Charge lasts for several dives and recharges in about an hour. Fantastic light!

I bopught two of them a year ago. Both of them developed cracks in the plastic head.

I usually do not write reviews... but this time I have to, this light is amazing.

1. It's really tiny. I clip it on my dive watch on my wrist - my hands are finally free. I don't even notice it.

2. it's super strong light, I mean really strong. All my friends are amazed how strong this is. And yes they are all jealous.

3. I use it every single time even if I do shallow dive with good viz simply because I can. It's tiny, rechargeable and really improves "to be seen" factor.

4. I used it even as a primary light for night dive in 5FT visibility water (yeah monterey CA can sometimes suck), worked great.

5. I do usually +/- 45 minutes dives, this light lasts for 5 dives. Once I forgot to charge it and thanks to standard USB charger, I charged it in my car during surface interval.

My only complain is that I did not discover this light 2 years ago.

I have a main canister lantern, and this little one was bought to be a backup. Of course, became the first one, because its light is very clear and constant. The battery lasts a long time and recharges quickly.
