The Glo-Toob provides a source of light at about 1/50th the cost of chemical lights. You turn it on when you need it and turn it off when you are done, conserving the energy. Each GLO-TOOB is rigorously tested for its strength and durability so that it can withstand extremely rough handling. Glo-Toob has a streamlined, cylindrical design that makes it strong enough to withstand being run over by a truck.
This is the ultimate, compact, waterproof, reusable, Multi-Mode lithium light source. Operating for approximately 24 hours in a permanently on condition with a rechargeable battery and approximately 40 hours with a non-rechargeable battery the Glo-Toob Lithium is a perfectly suited for any dark environment, whether it is night diving, camping, or military use. With its inexpensive replaceable battery and high impact resistant design, the long lasting LED (Light Emitting Diode) light source is viewable from 360°. The compact lightweight Glo-Toob Lithium is easy to attach to your equipment by means of its stainless steel split or detachable lanyard. The Glo-Toob Lithium with its 11 Modes and waterproof capabilities can be used in almost any application. Good to depths of 328'+ (100 meters+).
The six LED's (Light Emitting Diodes) have up to 100,000 of life expectancy and will burn approximately 24 to 100 hours depending on the battery make and the mode selected. The Lithium Glo-Toob uses a CR123A 3 volt Lithium battery. The different modes you can select from are: equal flash, beacon strobe, fast strobe, slow strobe, SOS, pulse, half flash, bounce, ramp up, 100% constant on and 25% constant on modes.
It should be noted that you cannot see the light from either the IR-875nm or theIR-950nm with the necked eye; you can only see it when using night vision goggles or gear (NVG) designed for the wavelength. To test your Infra-Red Glo-Toob, point your digital camera or video camcorder at the activated Glo-Tooband you should see it working on the display screen.
