ELIZABETH L Ben: it comes with a rubber piece that attaches to the rear bottom (basically a wrist cord). While useful, we purchased one of those pockets to add to my BC that has a retractable cord, so that we didn't have to hold the light or let it dangle.
PATRICIA S Mine had a lanyard. There is a notch where it attaches.
PAM A This is small and I already have it packed away with my diving stuff but I believe it has a cord attached. If you have a clip then you could attach it freely on the outside of the bcd. I like this though because it fits nicely inside the pocket in my bcd as a back up. My husband has one too that he carries in his bcd too. I like it because it is a small light and inexpensive. Not too difficult to just change batteries when you need too.
JOSEPH P there is a lanyard hole in the base.
RUSSELL L The light typically has a lanyard included that fits through a small loop on the back of the light.
