The Compact Video housing is high quality, built to last, and backed by Ikelite's long-standing reputation for excellence. Housing is made of durable clear injection molded Polycarbonate material and all controls are sealed with Quad-Ring seal glands. A full line of accessories allows you to really get creative with your underwater video. One of the best features of thishousing is the size and weight. The housing is 5.5" (14cm) wide x 4.25" (10.8cm)high x 3" (7.6cm) deep, making this a camera you can fit into your BCD pocket, and it is neutrally buoyant underwater and is less than 1 lb (0.45kg) on land.
All camera controls are fully functional through the housing and depth rated to 200' (60meters). Easy open latch and drop in camera loading make set-up a breeze. The housing includes a 1cc tube of silicone lubricant, vinyl lanyard andremovable UR/Pro color correcting filter for tropical blue water settings.
The included UR/Pro color correcting filter for tropical blue water settings replaces some of the reds and more natural tones that would otherwise be lost underwater. Filter enhances contrast and improves the color of green water to give your subject a rich, natural tone. Filter is effective with available sunlight up to 80' (24meters). Press fit to the outside of housings lens ports offering easy attachment and removal underwater. The SKU: IK644171 removable color filter is available separately for use in green water settings.
A full array of accessories is available to create even more vivid underwater video and increase the versatility of your Flip Video Camera and Housing. Pro -V8 Video Lite (SKU: IK6320) to add artificial light, and to attach your light (SKU: IK952351) Compact Video Tray, wide angle lenses can be attached with the Ikelite Port Adapter (SKU: IK930678), see SKU: IK6420 W-20, 0.56x Wide Angle Lens. The adapter can also be used to attach 67mm threaded macro lenses. There are more filters, lenses and adapters and other accessories to complete your system.
Compatibility Note:
This housing is compatible with 2nd generation Flip models U260, U1120 and U2120 only. Ikelite does not offer a housing to accept 1st generation Flip models F230 or F260.
