Shopper How frequently does one replace the O rings on the case? Where can I get the replacement O rings?
JAMES B Had mine for almost two years and never had a problem with the O ring. I keep it lubircated while in storage; use it 6-8 times a year. You can get replacements at Intova; maybe here from time to time.
ALEXANDER Y If you lubricate o ring after every dive then you can change the O-Ring every other year
You can get them from manufacturer or on ebay
GARY S I have used my camera for one multiple day dive trip and again this summer.
I have had no problems, but noted the direction to leave the case open, not tightly closed for storage. I would assume the replacement o rings would have to come from the manufacturer.
Hope that helps!
JOHN B John Did you already buy the camera? I had a lot of bad luck. Below 50' I got water in it. The company was very good and sent a new one saying they did a presure test. Same thing at about 50' again they replaced it again but I have not been deep with it since. I don't want to be all negative the photos were saved and they are great. The thing can take a photo in total darkness and they come out great beats the heck out of me. I also know others with the same camera and they are fine so I might just be unlucky. Once again they stand behind it and send a new camera each time. Your question about the O ring well I have not had 1 camera long enough to give my opinion. Hope this helps you.
JEFF H Every five years whith lite use.love mine plus double seals
KEVIN S I bought the camera for my daugher around Christmas last year, so she hasnt event had it a year. My other daughter has had one for about three years and in both cases the O rings are fine. So, I just don't know. My suggestion would be to contact Intova. Both Kevin & Joe have been very helpful, kevin@intova.com or joe@intova.com
JOHN R Had ours for about 1 1/2 years. We have not replaced it yet but if you contact Intova they will sell you what you need. FYI, to preserve the ring we use a little silicone grease and leave the camera case opened when not in use (makes sure the ring does not deform).
MR THOMAS M K I've had this camera for about 8 months, and so far no leaks or other problems. Maximum depth I've had the camera has been to 134 feet. The O rings are original, have never been changed and appear to be very sturdy and durable. When new O rings are needed, I would most likely contact Intova directly.
JORGE R I would change them as required, just keep them clean and lubricated also do not store the case with the lid closed. as to where to find them I seen them at the Intova website.
DAVID H I've opened and closed it now over 50 times with no sign of wear.
It's designed very well by being deep seated.
Just be gentle when wiping it down.
I thought about getting the red filter but all my pics so far have turned out ok.
The auto white balance works good also.
The only fine tuning I've had to do is the exposure range.
