Shopper What is the maximum distance and what is the maximum size fish this gun is capable of?

TODD V WITH THREE FRESH BANDS EFFECTIVE PENETRATION RANGE IS APPROXIMATELY 8 FEET. THINNER FISH SUCH AS RED SNAPPER, TRIGGERFISH, SHEEPSHEAD ARE APPROPRIATE. A LEGAL FORK LENGTH AMBERJACK IS TOO LARGE UNLESS AT POINT BLANK RANGE. NICE GUN FOR ITS SIZE.

I like this gun but i use it specifically for close range. With all 3 bands it's good for 20-25'. I shoot snapper, grouper, trigger.
BARRY A Maximum distance is about 15 feet, on a smaller fish. The farther a fish is away from the gun, the lower the penetration power left in the spear. If you shoot a large fish (6' long), you will need to be within 4 or 5 feet, and be ready to go for a ride, unless you actually hit the fish in the brain and "stone" it.
BEN P I measured 12 feet from wherever your trigger hand is, about 9.5 feet from the tip of the gun. Not sure of the max fish size, but it's gonna be big enough to handle anything you can handle while diving. The gun seems to shoot very straight and fast and is easy enough to arm while underwater.
