Chad K In the description and features it informs you can add an additional band. Where is the room to add another band or does one have to get a muzzle upgrade?
DERRIK H It can hold two 9/16 bands or one 5/8, the power will be about the same though.
MARCO A this gun comes with a 5/8 diameter sling, if you wanted an additional sling you would have to use 9/16 slings...
Chad K Thanks both for the input.
@Terry - Please post your thoughts after trying both bands
TERRY H I know it looks tight, but an identical JBL #424 band will slide in around the existing one. Just use plenty of dish soap for lubrication. Be sure not to try prying on the muzzle slots as it can break. The new band comes with simple instructions, but basically you start by inserting the wishbone into oneside of the muzzle and work it around until you can get the wishbone into the other side. Then its a matter of straightening it out to line up for the spearshaft. But I cant over emphasize the importance of dish soap for lube, or you will be fighting it. Going to try mine out with the two bands in about a week. I would like hearing from others who have done this also.
JAMEL B The muzzle end has room for 2 bands. I always use with both bands
Chad K So they're just stacked in there side by side? Is one band shorter?
JAMEL B Yes. They fit in the same spot just like any speargun i have had. There is no need for one band to be shorter. The catches on a spear are about 3 inches apart and the bands are always the same length. The blue bands are extra thick and fit snug in the muzzel end. 2 normal bands have more room, but that is of no importance. More important is the type of spear shaft you use forbthe type of fishing you will do. The larger shaft diameter with interchangable tips is something to think about. For bigger game you will want a "slip tip".
