Questions about this item:
Shopper I am a 5' 4" female weight 155 lbs. Would like a BCD to use for warm water diving--skin or 1-5 mil suit. Is a small the right size?
ROLLIN E My daughter is 5'7" and weighs around 140. She typically dives with a 5 mil suit. Her medium fits quite well, and she really likes it. I would suggest a medium. Its easier to pull the straps in if its a little big, but you can't let them out past their limits. Leisure Pro has a very easy return policy if something isn't right, so if its too big you just pay return shipping.
Hope this helps!
MATTHEW P Small is the correct size.
Shopper Im 5'11 200 lbs 34" waist, what size would fit me?
RON A I actually bought 2 of these. I'm 5'8"about 185 and I bought a xl and I got a L for my wife. i can wear either as there is a lot fo adjustment. My son is 5-11" about 175 and also wears hers. Like i said there is plenty of adjustment but I would recommend the large
LAURENCE P I have a lg it is kind of heavy but it has been very sturdy not sure weather i would buy another like it
DAVID B the l-xl is way big. I am 6'0" and 220 lbs and the l-xl was too big. If they have a m- l get that.
RICK W depends where you carry your weight. If it's mostly around your belly, then Lg/XL, If it is all over, then Medium - both recommendations for warm diving in a 2/3 mm. If you are cold water 7mm+ wetsuit diving, then the L/XL.
SUSAN F I am almost exactly your size (5' 10", 185, 34 in waist) I have a medium and it is perfect for me...I dive in everything from a 3mm to a trilam drysuit and the lift capacity is way more than adequate. There is quite a bit of adjustment possible and you're on the cusp for sizing though so you might want to go with the large.
KENN P I bought this for my son who is 5'8. I am about the ame size as you and the Euro M that I bought for him is definaely too small for me.(I just tried it on).. I'd try a Euro L or XL if you are a cold water diver.
JEFFERY H I'm 6'0", 235lbs with a 36 inch waist and mine fits fine with room to tighten up if I ever drop a few lbs, so you should be fine. It's a nice vest for the money.
Jeff
Shopper I'm a male.
I'm 173cm. 61kg. 29"waist and 33" chest.
Which size is right for me?
JAMES H based on this information, I purchased a medium for my son, a advanced open water diver. I also purchased one for myself, it fits great for both of us. I use a wet suit and also dive with a dry suite. Lots of adjustment, a really great BC
jamie
RANDAL V small, but also make or find a crouch strap with this model. great vest but a strap makes it way better and room for error on size selection.
AL A My Tusa BCD is a Euro Medium. US size not listed on BCD.
I am 5'7", 175 lbs, 35" waist 40" chest
The medium fits me fine. Based on your dimensions my only concern for you would be your chest size. But I think you could get away with it.
JAMES E I weigh 210 and the large fits great,we love the bcc ,,,my wife has the medium...enjoy...easy integrated weight system...
ITEC495-TEAM4 I What size should I get? I am 5'11 and weigh 175 lb. I do mostly cold diving and would need to fit the appropriate wet suits on comfortably with the BCD. Thanks.
PHILLIP J I weigh 165 and have amedium and even diving with 6 mil still have room to spare. Has plenty of storage and dump valves can be helpful, dumpable weights are a dream. If you think you are prone to gaining weight you might consider the large, but I THINK A MEDIUM WOULD SUIT YOU TO 190
ROBERT R I bought a medium, am 5ft 5 and weight in at 160lbs. I would use tusa sizing chart, it runs true to size. It is adjustable so you have some lee-way on wearing different wetsuits. I love this bcd. Would buy again.
PATRICK M I'm 5'8' 180 and have three Tusa BCD's in Med with an ONeal 7mm. I highly recommend this model if your not trying to travel light. Like all Tusa BCD's this model has plenty of adjustments. I've owned numerous brands over the last 25 years and I now use nothing but Tusa.
ITEC495-TEAM4 I Thank you, you have greatly helped my decision!
BRYAN S I purchased this BC a few years ago and have around 50 dives on it. The size chart is spot on. For a 175lb person, I'd go with the M. I am 6'2", 240, and have the L/XL. The velcro adjusts to accomodate a great deal, and I would agree with the chart that the L/XL size would cover the 190-260 range well. The weight capacity has been great - I have had 20lbs in it with room to spare. The lift capacity has been good in all conditions as well from cold to tropic.
TIM T I am 5'10" and since I am 53, I have a slight belly. I try swim but still weight about 216. I usually use a 3 mil L wetsuit. The Euro M BCD fits me fine and I would think that would be a good fit. I would recommend this for a cold water diving. It travels well. But I would look at a lighter suit for warm water divers.
RICK W I do warm water diving 2/3mm suit), I am 6 ft 180lbs, and the Lg/XL is way too big for me. I have it set as tight as the adjustments will let me go. I should never have kept it. I can only guess that even with a 7mm wetsuit that L/XL will be too big.
GARY K Hello! I'm not entirely sure what size would be best for you, but I am 135lbs and 5'5'' and I have a Small (Euro)/ Medium (Asia) BC and it fits like a glove. I've worn it both with and without a wetsuit, but usually with. It's also adjustable, as are all of the jackets so you could probably fit any of them to you. The large might be too big for you, but again, I'm not sure. The best thing to do is to go to your local dive shop and try some other BCs on for size, then once you know your size, buy one online for cheaper (unless you want to support your local dive shop!) -- Best of luck and happy diving -- Kristin
Shopper What kind of support does this have for the tank?
LeisurePro S In addition to the tank strap, the BCD has a "stabilizing harness" which has two separated rails to increase the tank?s security and prevent it from rolling.
Shopper I'm 33" Chest, 33" Waist, 5'10 and 175lb, What size do you recommend?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a medium.
Shopper How much weight does it hold?
LeisurePro S The BCD has a weight capacity of 26 pounds.
Shopper How much lift does this BC have?
LeisurePro S Depends on size. Xsmall = 28 pounds, Small = 32, Medium = 41 pounds, Large/Xlarge = 47 pounds.
Shopper Does this BCD have rear weight pockets?
LeisurePro S Yes, this has two trim pockets on the sides.
Shopper I am a female 5"6, 165-175lbs, 34-36' waist, can you suggest a size for me?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a medium.
Shopper I ordered and XSmall, but I dive with a 3mm suit. Should I switch to a small?
LeisurePro S No, you should be fine staying with the XSmall.
Shopper What size BC should I order if I am 6'1", 180 lbs. and 34" waist.
LeisurePro S I would recommend the Large/XLarge.
Shopper I'm 5'11", 170# wearing a thick wetsuit for cold water diving. What size should I choose. The sizing chart doesn't fit my dimensions for height & weight. Thanks
LeisurePro S Since you will be diving with a thick wetsuit, I think you will be okay with the large/xlarge.
Shopper How much does this weigh
LeisurePro S Has a shipping weight of 9.90 pounds
Shopper specs for bc's made from denier nylon use numbers to show the strength of the fabric. which is stronger or better 500 or 1000?
LeisurePro S The denier numbers refer to the size of the yarn used to make the nylon. Higher denier numbers usually mean more durability. So this BC, with a high 840 denier number, is built with material that's meant to last.
Shopper I'm 1,86 metre and 97 kg what would be my size?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the Large/XLarge.
Shopper I typically use a 26lb weight belt, will the L/XL be capable of adding this weight so i can remove the weight belt thanks
LeisurePro S The total recommended weight is 22 lbs, but you can fit up to 35 lbs. So I think you'll be be able to work out 26.
Shopper My wife is 5-7 120 lbs i order a small BCD Tusa Platina do you think this is the right size to order? also BCD does come with power infator correct?
LeisurePro S A small will work out well. Yes, this BC comes with a power inflator and the quick disconnect LP hose.
Shopper I am 5'6" 135-145 with a 30" waist what is your opinion on a sizefor this BC
Shopper I'm interested to buy BC Tusa 3860 (in stock). which size is corectly for me - I'm 176 cm waist, 103 cm in chest and 85 kg of weigt. Which size is for me M or L-XL? thanks
LeisurePro S I would try the med first, the L-Xl will probably be too big.
Shopper I'm a 34-36" waist & 50-51" chest will the lg/ex-lg fit?
Shopper Im 5,11ft and way 196 Pounds what would be my size?
LeisurePro S Large / Extra Large
Shopper Do the TUSA BCD's (particularly the 3860) have oral inflation capability?
LeisurePro S Yes all of their BC's are orally inflatable.
Shopper I'm 6' 175-185lbs 34-36" waist. On a recent dive trip they kept issuing me a medium Mares BCD because the large was kind of loose. It ran out of shoulder adjustment and kept riding up from the waist cumberbund. With all that info in mind, what size would you recommend for me in this Tusa rig? Size chart doesn't seem particularly appropriate for my body specs.
LeisurePro S Thin wetsuit a medium, thick wetsuit a large
Shopper I am interested in a sizing chart for the Tusa Platinum Evolutin BCD
Shopper Will an older Scuba Pro Air II work with this BC Thanks
LeisurePro S Yes, an AIR 2 will mount just fine.
Shopper Does the Tusa Platinum Evolution BCD have two tank straps in back? Thanks, Kim
LeisurePro S No, only one Strap
