Questions about this item:
Shopper I'm trying to decide what to get. Why did you pick this one?
DERRICK K I was a new diver then, and I felt finding the traditional inflator on my shoulder was somewhat difficult. With i3, it is always on the same spot.
GALE L At the time I bought this BC I was having trouble with my shoulder, I could barely raise my arm above my head to deflate my BC. I would deflate by pulling the inflator hose on my old BC downward. I knew that sooner or later that the hose could fail from this practice (possibly when I was 80ft down, not a good thing!)
I read about the Seaquest Pro QD and thought why not give it a try. I also got one for my wife, and we both love it. The lever makes it so easy to use, did'nt take us anytime to get use using it . It actually feels more natural to use it then the old style inflator hose, also we dive Cenotes in the Yucatan and this BC is the greatest in tight spots where your mobilty is very limited.
I had surgery on the shoulder and now have full mobility of the arm, but I will never consider going back to the old inflator style BC.
Everytime we go diving everybody ask us about them. We cannot say enough good about them.
STEPHEN C I bought this BC because of leisure pro price! In Florida there's a diving chain
called Divers Direct and LC beat there price by 200.00. Had about 60 dives
with this BC and what a dream is to where.lightweight but heavyduty in
construction. this is sooooo streamline too. the i3 is right there when you need & tucked away when you don't. HIGHLY reccommend this bc from
LEISUREPRO!!!!!!!!!!!
HARVEY C As matter of personal preference, I like a "hybrid" BCD-- mostly back inflation, but with some around the waist when I'm upright at the surface. YMMV.
I'm a big fan of the i3 inflation control. I think critical controls should be rigidly mounted and instantly findable-- not flopping around at the end of a hose.
I've used the Pro QD i3 for about 100 dives and like it a lot. However, I've just traded mine for an Axiom i3-- same manufacturer, similar design, many improvements.
DAVID P I wanted to try the i3 technology built into it.
Fabricio T Hi, I'm 5'4'' with 154 pounds. What's the best size for me? Thank's!
RICHARD A I am your size and the Small fits me perfect.
Shopper Does this BCD come with the tank lock strap or is that an extra purchase?
PAUL O This BCD does come with the tank lock strap.
MARCEY K The tank lock strap is attached to the BCD. You do not have to purchase it separately. My husband has been very happy with his Seaquest Pro. I have the Seaquest Pearl i3 BCD and I am also very happy with it. The i3 technology is great!!!
MIKE T It comes with a standard cam locking tank strap but not a second stability band that some BC's have.
JOSEPH P Yes...it does come with a tank lock strap.
ARTHUR H Yes it does come with an adjustible HD tank strap. All around great piece of equipment !
JEROD S there is a sturdy velcro tank strap that came with mine. I did not have to add any additional features to attach a tank. Hope that helps.
ALAN C The tank lock strap comes with the vest and I have not had any problems with it. The key to keeping everything working properly is to open the valve attached to the self inflating tube and rinse with clean water after every salt water dive trip. Salt water can get inside the vest, like all vests, and salt crystals can form that can jam up the valve handle to inflate or deflate. I really like the vest and would recommend them to anyone.
STEPHEN C Yes it does. This bc is this best! lightweight, strong, & fits like a nice suit.
leisure pro has all the best prices!!
PIERRE G Helo !
Yes of course it comes with it. For BC size, follow LeisurPro size chart.
Shopper I am 5'9" with a 44 inch chest and waist of 34, and weigh 175 pounds. What size is recommended?
HARVEY C I'd recommend size M. I have been using an ML and a 35-inch waist, and the ML cannot really be adjusted snugly. I've just traded for a size M.
RAYMOND T Hello,
The size that might fit you properly is ML. I hope this answer helps...good diving.
Raymond
LEONARD R Probably a Large. I am 5'8" w/ a 44 inch chest and at the time waist of 40 and weight of 225. My exposure suit was a 7mm farmer john. I ordered an XL. The fit around the body was good. The bcd was a little long, but is made for someone taller.
STUART L I AM 6 FOOT ,43 CHEST,34 WAIST, I WEAR A LARGE AND IT FITS FINE
Alex L I am 5'4" and 134 Ibs what size is right for me?
SHANNON B I bought this one for my 6'4" husband and he hasn't even used it. Sorry I can't advise you.
TONY A Alex
You need a size small. These run a little large anyway and if you have a BC that is too large and doesn't fit you it won't stay in the right position on your body as well has having too my lift for your weight.
Hope that helps! Tony
FOREST R From my experience, I would recommend a size medium for you.
KEVIN R I wear a size large shirt, my BC is medium large and fits perfectly... great BC, you'll love it!
ROGER D W I am 6'-3" and 250 lbs. I found the XXL much larger than it needed to be for my height and weight. I would think Alex would fit a size small. Other than the size issue I like the BC . R.W.
Shopper I'm 5'11" and 180 lbs what size is right for me?
KLAUS ALEXANDER R I bought size medium/large and it fits perfectly. Can only recommend it.
STEPHEN W A medium fits me perfect, I am 5'8" 170 wear a 42 suit jacket
hope that helps
Steve
HARVEY C I'm 175 lb morning weight, 5'10", 39" chest, 35" waist. The Pro QD i3 in size MEDIUM LARGE fits me beautifully. I've worn it with as much as 15mm neoprene (Aqualung SolAFX suit with 7 mm shorty on top).
JOHN S I am 6'2" and weigh 225. The large fits me very well...definitely not too small for me. I would think you could also wear a large....especially if you wear a bulky type wet suit or dry suit. Hope that helps.
DAVID P I bought this BCD in 2008. I'm 5'11" and 200 lbs, and mine's a Large. It fits perfectly. I've been very pleased with this vest, and I'd buy another one.
FREDERICK S Do not purchase from this company. I am answering this quedtion as a warning they sold my data to a compamy called TurnTo who in turn sent me unsolicited email ablut this item I purchased. Again unless you want your sales history sold and used to send you Spam do not purchase from this company.
Shopper How do I order weights with my BCD?
LeisurePro S Weights are ordered separately. You can choose regular leaded weight here or shot weight pockets here.
Shopper I'm about 5'7, 190lbs, waist is at 34 inches. What size?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a medium/large.
Shopper I'm 6'1" and 190 lbs, dive in northern CA mostly with a thick wetsuit, What size should I get?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the large.
Shopper I am 5' 6" 172 lbs. What is the correct size for me?
LeisurePro S Yes, I would recommend the Medium/Large.
Shopper Where and how do you manually fill the bladders?
LeisurePro S The oral inflation tube is hidden in the flap and hook on the upper left shoulder of the BCD. Pulling on the mouthpiece extends the hose to it's full length and you can then orally inflate the BCD like you would normally.
Shopper WHAT IS THE ACTUAL TRAVEL WEIGHT OF THIS BCD?
LeisurePro S The BC weight appx. 8.4 pounds.
Shopper I AM 5' 8" 145 POUNDS. I HAVE A LONGISH TORSO. WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GET FOR THIS BC?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a small.
Shopper I am 5'8" 210lbs what size would you recommend
LeisurePro S I would lean towards a Large, an XL if you will be wearing this with thick wetsuits.
Shopper Hi - I'm 174 cm tall (about 5' 8.5") and 68-70kg heavy (seasonal, heh) (about 154 lbs). What would be the best size for me please - I suspect it will either be Small or Medium? Is it usually better for BCD to be slightly too large, rather than slightly too small? Or is it the other way around? Thank you for your help!
LeisurePro S It's "better" for a BCD to be slightly bigger rather than smaller. That way it's not uncomfortable (too tight) and if you wear it with a thick suit at any point or with lots of additional gear, you will be much happier about it. You fit right in the guidelines for medium, so I think that will be just right for you.
Shopper I'm 5'11" and weigh 204 lbs with a 41 inch chest. Would the size Large be the best fit for me?
LeisurePro S Yes, large will be the best for you.
Shopper i want this bcd. But i want to know if it has a way to manualy inflate the bcd. if not can you add one. i'm 5'10" and am about 215 what size should i get.
DAVID P Or, buy an alternate air source, install it in place of the stock manual inflation tube, and get manual inflation, power inflation, and a regulator all at your fingertips in one device, and oh, btw, you can ditch your octopus.
LeisurePro S Yes, you are able to manually inflate the BC. I would recommend the XLarge.
Shopper I love the style of this BC. I'm 6'0" and weigh 180lbs with a 42 inch chest. Which size is correct for me?
Shopper Does this BCD have a carrier handle?
Shopper i'm 5'5'' tall and weigh 68 kls. what size of this b.c.d. fit to me?
Shopper Does the Seaquest Pro QD with i3 Technology BC support dual tanks? Thanks! Mike
Shopper Will the Seaquest Pro QD with i3 Tech. accommodate Twin TANKS?
Shopper I have tried on the XL and it fits find around the waist .Is the XXL any longer, straps are all the way out ,would be nice if pocket sat a little lower I'am 6'.2 25 255 pds
LeisurePro S XXL is the recommended size for you.
Shopper How much weight is actually included with the purchase of this BC? For the Small and the Medium both.
LeisurePro S Weight is not included.
Shopper Is there a preferred knife for this B.C.?
LeisurePro S There certainly is! Check out sku: SQTKSL, it is a very nice knife and will fit right on your bc perfectly.
Shopper I currently have a Seaquest Diva but feel like I sit too low in the water once I surface. I currently have a XS but probably need a small as my current weight is 140 at 5'7". Will this Seaquest Pro raise me in the water? Will my second air source from my Diva work on the Pro? Do women find this BC cmfortable?
LeisurePro S this Seaquest Pro will not raise you in the water. Your second air source from my Diva will work on the Pro. Women do find this BC cmfortable, but this will be based on individual opinions.
Shopper does the price include inflator hose?
Shopper what is the lift on this bc
LeisurePro S That depends on the Size of the BCD

Many words describe the Pro QD with i3 technology, but the most accurate is "streamlined." This BCD offers a new design that will wow divers both those who wear it and those who see it around the diving community.
The backpack style offers the ultimate in comfort, while the gusseted air bladder allows for maximum lift. The patented traction pad prevents your tank from slipping while you're submerged; this is a feature all divers wish they had on their BCDs! To prevent additional BCD slippage or unwanted shifting, the Pro QD with i3 technology offers a depth-compensating cummerbund; no longer will you need to play the BCD strap readjusting game while at depth!
Over the years, BCDs have been updated to reflect the modern age of diving. The Pro QD with i3 technology skipped the modern age and went straight into the future.
