Questions about this item:
Shopper mmmm i'm not so tall 5'8" and my weight is 193lbs.
It's ok if ill buy the large or the medium is better?
NELSON M Based on the size chart i would say buy a Large. Especially if you will be diving with a medium to thick we suit. The BC is pretty adjustable so will adjust down as needed.
EYAL L it is hard to recommend on something like that but i will tell you that i am 180cm height and 90kg weight so i have the large size. take into consideration that you also have the diving suit.
anyhow it is the best!! i had the Mares and it is much better
ROBERT K Would recommend the large - at 6'1" and 205 I've got the straps for length about mid-way out and the girth is pretty much right.
ROBERT S I would go with the large. You can adjust it down in the cumber bum and shoulders. That way it will fit better if you use a 7mil or dry suit. I dive s and r with mine and its been great. Only problem was where the inflater dump valve screwed into the shoulder to the bladder. Simple fix bad O ring. Its been a great investment a great rig for any kind of diving. Good luck
VLADIMIR J if you won't be diving in more than 5mil wetsuit, medium might be better. I'm 5'10" 195lbs and own a large. it fits fine when i'm in a 5mil or 7mil wetsuit, though the shoulder straps are as drawn as they can be. if i'm in 3mil or less it starts to get a little loose, but not so much that it interferes with buoyancy control. of course, you can always exchange it if M is too tight.
CRAIG M I am 5' 11" and 220 and use the extra large.
If I weighed 193lbs, I would be using a large. I can't see myself in a medium unless I got down to 180 or so.
LANCE G I would go with a large. I use a large and weigh 174.
ROBERT C I'm 5'6", weigh 155lbs and I have the medium which works well for me. I think you would be happier with the large.
RYAN J def a med im 5'10 and 220 and had to adjust my large all the way down and it barely fit.
MIKE D I would go with a large.
KURT S zegals are VERY adjustable the medium will adjust all the way to large.
Shopper I having a hard time deciding on a size. I'm 5'10 and 180-1855lbs. I'm a 34" waist and dive a 7-8mm wetsuit. I'm worried a large will be way to big and a medium might be just a tiny bit too small. Any suggestions?
EYAL L Hi,
since we use the meter size... i dont know how to calculate the measurements you mentioned. anyhow, i would recommend on a bigger size that can be fitted and will not feel to tight... which can cause a hyperventilation
during diving.
hope i helped...
P.S it is the best product.
LANCE G Since it sounds like you have a large upper torso, I would go with the large. I suspect a medium will be too small.
MARK W I am a similar size as you, go with the Med. The waist band and shoulder straps are very adjustable. One of the best, most comfortable BC's I have ever owned.
CRAIG M I can't answer your question, except to say that you may want to find one in a shop and try it on.
I am 5'11 and well over 200lbs and I wear the XL. and it fits great.
This is the best BCD I have ever used.
FRANK P I have a large and I'm 5 11 and 235 lbs and it's fit's fine. I think you should go with the medium?
Shopper I'm around 160lbs, 5'7'' height and chest 38", and what size should I get? M?
JAMES C I believe a medium would fit you just fine. There are some easy adjustment that can be made.
Jim
MOHAMED E Yes, definitely M (medium) because I am 200lbs, 6'3'' and I am using LG.
It is really really a great BCD and I am so happy that I mad such a choice.
You won't regret it, I promise..
ROBERT C I'm 5' 6" and weigh 155. The medium I have works fine for me.
GASPAR C Yes, a medium should fit well. I am 5'10", 155 weight and 42 chest and my medium size is perfect.
ROBERT T THE ZEAGLE RANGER IS ONE OF THE BEST BCDs AVAILABLE. Size will depend on what type of exposure protection you usually wear. Heavier wetsuit or dry suit will require a larger BCD. The cummerbund is adjustable on the Zeagle to help you get an exact fit. Judging from Zeagle's factory size chart a MEDIUM sounds about right. You should opt for a tighter fit rather than a loose fit. Leisure Pro is a great outfit and will let you swap if the size is wrong. If possible try to find a Zeagle Ranger you can try on.
ROBERT W I purchased the Zeagle Ranger BCD size med and it fits me well. I am male, 5' 6" tall, weigh 162lbs. and have a 42' chest, 32" waist. You may want to try one on for size prior to ordering to be sure, but I would think the med will work for you.
MATTHEW G The Zeagle BCDs tend to run very big. I am 6' - 205# with a 46" chest, and a medium Ranger fits me perfectly. Might wanna make a trip to your local dive shop and try one on to ensure you get the proper size.
TANIA J I think a medium would fit you well.
LANCE G A medium will work fine
Shopper Does this BCD have any weight accessories/pockets?
LeisurePro S The ranger has a weight system called a 'ripcord' system, where the weight pockets are laced together and to the BCD with a cord. A tug on a pull tab, releases the lacing and the weight fall out. The ripcord system can hold up to 36 pounds and is included with the BCD (actual weights not included). There are also non-dumpable weight pockets that can hold up to 20 additional pounds.
Shopper Does the Apollo Bio Tank Lock come with Zeagle Ranger BCD?
LeisurePro S No, the Apollo tank lock would have to be purchased separately here.
Shopper I am 145 lbs, 5'7"and chest size 38". What size should I get ?
LeisurePro S I would recommend a medium.
Shopper What's the difference between the Zeagle ranger and the tech?
LeisurePro S The Tech has 65 pounds of lift versus the Ranger's 44 pounds of lift. It also replaces the cumberbund with dual spade connectors. Here is a whole forum discussing the two.
Shopper What is the weight of this BC?
LeisurePro S Shipping weight for a medium is 8 Lbs

Whats in the box:BCD, LP Quick Disconnect Hose and Bx Inflator The Ranger was the first BC to combine high quality heavy duty construction, weight integration, and rear flotation. Its introduction created a new category of buoyancy systems, and it is without doubt the most imitated BC in history! But it's the Rangers incredible versatility that keeps knowledgeable divers recommending it year after year. Zeagle's modular construction allows the Rangerto transition between tropical travel diving, rugged cold water diving in wet ordry suits, single or twin cylinders, and even (with optional bladder assemblies having up to 2 X 85-LB lift and easily mounted back-plates) technical diving! Constructed of heavily reinforced 1050 denier ballistic nylon, the Ranger is comfortable, balanced, and can be used in an incredible range of diving activities. It is compatible with a variety of additional bladders, pockets, andother accessories. The waist closure is a single buckle combined with elastic waist panels. The standard bladder has a 44-lb lift capacity. If you are a diver who wants a rugged recreational buoyancy system, but also want one that can adapt and change to meet different diving needs, the Ranger isa system you won't outgrow.
