LORENZ L No...everything is included in the purchase price...you just attach the included adapter to your scuba tank cylinder valve and fill the Spare Air from your tank. It doesn't take much air to fill it at all.
PETER V It has a yoke fill adapter to fill directly from a tank. I have not filled the spare air bottle from an actual fill station. I have a steel 120 tank at the house I keep filled just to top off my spare air bottle and for testing purposes for my other equipment. It is a good back up, I have never needed it, but it is a nice feeling that it is there. - Peter

ANDREW H The best way to fil the spare air is form your tank with the fill adaptor provided in the kit. The fill station adaptor is used to fill it directly from a fill station compress an option that is always good to have but not absolutely necessary. I have had a problem with filling from a fill station when the volocity is large and blows the seals out.
