mario s i have a tusa platinum evolution bcd (bcj-3960) are these bags have the right dimension to fit the weight pockets of the bcd i mentioned?

TROY T These bags are very flexible and can assume almost any shape. The only concern would be the volume capacity of the pocket.

DAVID A Why not send SeaSoft the inside dimensions of your pockets or call customer support and talk to them or E-mail. I use mine to counter balance the neck weight of my acoustic guitar at the center point of the strap. Keep in mind, since these are in bags, they can be shaped to fit a number of dimenisons. It's the total volume that is important. Dave

Shopper how much would it be for 12 pounds of weight and how would i purchase that?

David R You can just choose the size and quantity of weight you want and enter it in the cart. Dpending on the quantity and size it's about $36.00 for 12lbs plus shipping whcih will show in the shopping cart.

JOHN B I just bought these weights straight off the Lesiure pro web site, price was listed when you added them to cart. Seem to be good quality.

LEX V It all depends on how you want to distribute the weight, 6 2 pounders, 4 3 pounders, any combination you like.

BRADLEY S It depends on how you want the weight distributed. You could get 6 2lb bags 4 3lb bags 3 4lb bags or a 10lb bag and a 2lb bag. I have used these weights myself and love them. I have 2 10lbs and 2 5lbs bags.

Shopper What are the dimensions of these bags with respect to their weight? I am trying to see what grouping will fit snugly in my Mares Icon. I plan to buy a variety of small sizes to distribute the weight to the back trims also.

ROBERT M I have the 2 and 5# weights. The 2# one is approximately 4x3.5x1 inches. The 5# is approximately 4x6x1.5 inches.

WILLIAM D Hi. I have 3 pounders and they are 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 1".

CHAD P The 2 pound weight that I have is about 3" by 4" by less than 1", though the bags are very flexible so they will fit snugly into various shapes.

JAMES W Sorry about the delay in answering, just got e-mail back after the hurricane. Personally, I WOULD NOT buy "soft weights" if I had it to do over. When I first started diving I bought (2) each 5, 4, 3, & 2 lb soft weights for a total of 28 lbs and have used them in various combinatons ever since. They work fine and conform to the inside of my ditchable weight and trim weight pockets BUT THEY ARE A MESS after a dive. The lead pellets rub together inside the bags and I end up with gray stains on everything that they come into contact with. My PERSONAL recommendation would be to buy HARD WEIGHTS instead. You'll find that they are more compact for a given weight and that they are easier to stuff into a pocket and best of all, THEY DON'T STAIN! You can get the weights from several suppliers but the Sea Pearls that you can get from Leisure Pro and a great choice! Best of luck with your diving!

I've had these weigths for about 3 years now, and I'm buying more of them. None of them have broken, and the markings are still clear on all of them. You can literally toss these weights around without damaging them. they fit ito integrated pockets much better than hard weights or the "aqua lead shot soft weights." They do take a while to dry, but that isn't really an issue with the bag I keep them in.

they seem to take up more room in weight pockets than hard weights,
They take forever and a day to dry out before storing.
in cold weather when wet, they will all freeze together into a solid clump if placed in a plastic tote, where as hard weights could be left in the car, these need to be thawed or dried. so that's 26lbs more gear I have to drag in and out of the house.

I am not a diver and at my age never will be, however these make the best "soft" weights for model building. IE: Weighting down a balsa wing to add washout or straighten a warped wing.

these weights are perfect for fitting into my zeagle ltd pouches, pockets, ect.....they last a super long time due to the neoprene construction and I think they should cost more for what you get! These dry out just as fast as a wetsuit, so it's not an issue and I don't reccommend drying these or any of your gear in full sunlight and leaving it there, obviously it would fade!
