After getting my advanced open water & 20 dives I felt it was time to get my own regulator set. I wanted a high vis octo and one that was resistant to free flow on the surface. A number of other octo reviews had concerns with freeflow. This octo was a bit dearer but had good reviews. I've only done 2 cold water shallow dives so far with no free flow issues. Mouthpiece is quite a bit bigger than my primary but not uncomfortable. I have not yet tried it underwater but breathing effort on land is similar to my primary. Hose is a good length easy to tuck out of the way but long enough to reach a buddy easily. Hi vis yellow mouthpiece and hose makes it easy for a buddy to find in an out of air situation.

This is a perfect Octo decision. I have used it in the pool as a primary just to ensure I could trust it with my life and my buddy life. It breathes just fine better then the scubapro I use to have at 2X the price. I would recommend TUSA regulators to any one considering a regulator.

After taking a personal beating (divorce etc.), I decided to reach back to go forward. I rebuilt my original DA AquaMaster and with a couple of custom fittings added this so anyone diving with me would be assured I had an excellent remedy for an emergency. I have other regulators but my DA is personal.

I SPEND ALOT OF TIME INVERTED UNDER BOAT HULLS AND THIS REGULATOR DOES NOT SUCK WATER EVEN INVERTED. I USE IT SHALLOW DIVING FROM A DOCKSIDE
COMPRESSOR AS A PRIMARY AND IT GETS BEAT UP SOME AND STILL WORKS GREAT. USED AS MUCH AS 8 HOURS A DAY AND ONLY NEEDS A GOOD RINSING TO BE READY TO GO AGAIN.
