RICHARD J It's the only on BC mounted alternate air source that does not route the air in your BC to your lungs when you are breathing through it and dumping air at the same time!
A few days on a dive boat will allow all kinds of nasty things grow inside your BC... Don't breath BC air.

SCOTT C The Zeagle Octo-Z Airsouce will fit onto the BCD just fine. The issue, however, is whether the inflator hose from your regulator will be compatible with the nipple on the Octo-Z. Seaquest inflators (which I presume you currently have on your Seaquest BCD) use a nipple size that fits neither the standard small gauge nipples nor the larger "scubapro" size. If your inflator hose in incompatible with the Octo-Z, small adaptors are cheap and easy to find. Just make sure to sort this all out before you go diving.
CHET T I don't believe this will fit a SeaQuest BCD right out of the box. However, I don't know if there is a way to adapt it to fit a SeaQuest BCD. I can also tell you that if you are currently using a SeaQuest AirSource on your SeaQuest BCD, you'll also have to change out the air hose that runs to the Octo-Z.
JEFFRY B I dont know. Never owned a Sequest BCD. That being said. I believe the oct hose is a standard size.Fits all.
MARC M I have mine on my Zeagle Stilleto, but I can tell you that the Octo connects to the BCD by way of a garden hose thread. The inflator hose is pretty universal.
JEFF C It should fit, you will take swap out the fitting in the big hose, the Oct Z comes with everything you need. The only problem might be if your hose is a lot different in dia.
ARTHUR K I am not sure about the seaquest, I have installed the Octo-Z on Aeris, Sherwood and Mares BCD's with no problem. I think that if the large BCD inflator hose is standard diameter, it should work.

Shopper Do I need a special connector so that any universal low pressure hose can be connected it?
LeisurePro S Yes, here is the adapter for using a standard LP hose with the Octo-Z.
Shopper Is the Zeagle Octo Z compatible with Nitrox? Does the Octo Z fit Cressi BCDs?
LeisurePro S The Octo Z is Nitrox compatible to 40%, but unfrotunately, doesn't fit Cressi BCDs.
Shopper Will this fit an oceanic islander BCD?
LeisurePro S You have two choices for the Oceanic Islander: to get the Oceanic combo octo or get the Zeagle combo octo and buy the adapter for it.
Shopper I recently purchased the Zeagle Stiletto BC. I however, did not buy an octopus. I was wondering if this item that i have attached is compatible and is it something i can install or does a dealer have to do it??
LeisurePro S Yes, this will fit on your BCD. The installation is failrly straightforward and you can do it yourself with a few simple tools. If you feel uncomfortable doing it on your own, you can just take it into your local dive shop and they should be able to put it on for you right there in a few minutes (hopefully for free!).
