Questions about this item:
Shopper My daughter wears a size 8 womens shoe. Should I get a 5-6 fin or 7-8 size fin in a Aeris Velocity fin?. I read where Aeris sizes are 1-2 size larger that what most people wear and the post suggested buying 1 size smaller for a good fit.
thanks
STEVEN O I think the sizes are acurate for Men, but men's 7 = women's 8
PAMELA M I would suggest buying 1 size smaller.
I wear a 6 1/2 or 7 women's shoe. I bought my Aeris Velocity fins in a size 5/6.I wear the fins with a medium weight neoprene sock and the fit is perfect.
My husband owns a pair of these fins and he wears them 1 size smaller than his shoe size. Your daughter will love these fins. My husband is prone to cramping of his calves but has no problems when using the Aeris Velocity fins even when snorkeling for 3 hours at a time.
TOM C I'd go with a size smaller, then you should have a really good fitting fin. I've used these fins for a while now, and they are smaller than my shoesize and fit well.
WERNER B I have european men shoe size 42 or american 9 1/2, not sure anymore what size I ordered first but I ended up changing them to a smaller size 40-41 / 7-8.
That makes a good fit for me and I have never lost the fin. Go for the smaller size.
jacob J hello I wear I size 11 /12 -12 .... what do you think I should get L or XL?? Thanks
KATINA P If you will be wearing a really thick neoprene sock I would get the XL. Otherwise a L would do fine.
RICHARD A We purchased a pair of XL for my son. He's a size 13. They were quite tight on him. If you buy in time, there is a nice return process that LP has in place just in case.
I use these as does my wife. I'm a size 10.5, and the large fit well.
Great fins by the way particularly for the price. We've used them for 5 years and they're holding up perfectly.
VICKI C You should try the XL. My husband has size 11 narrow feet and I bought him the XL size. The foot holder of the fin is a little sloppy for his feet, but the length seems about right.
Suggest youTry XL and if it does not fit right, return it. Vicki
RICK B I can't help you with the sizes but I can tell you that these are excellent fins for the money. Rick
GREG M Jacob, I bought several pairs of the Aeris Velocity Full Foot Fins for my family. My son wears a size 12 shoe, and just yesterday used the 12-13 size fins. They fit him well. I hope this helps. Greg
JEFFREY J I have a size 12 shoe and I ordered the fins in a size 10.5-11. They fit great.
Shopper What size do you recommend for men's shoe size 10.5 EEE ?
RYAH H I wear a size 13 Nike and the size 12-13 Aeris Velocity fins fit me just fine I have used them summer after summer and they have never bothered by feet. As for a 10.5EEE I?m guessing you have a wide foot I can?t say for sure what size you would go with. If you have to special order your shoes they might not work for you. But if you can ware shoes off the rack I would just go with the size you normally ware.
ROBERT C HI
My foot is a size 13 d so I am not familiar with eee. But I like the Aeris fins
and they feel true to size. Shooting from the hip Iwould try a size 11
Hope this helps ,
Bob
BARRY M All I did was write a review. Now I'm giving advice? No good deed goes unpunished.
OK then. You appear to be on the edge of LG and XL. But, loose won't work, cause there's no strap to adjust. So I'd try LG size first. Mine are tight, but once I'm in, the comfort is perfect. If you just can't cram in, then trade them for the next size up.
These are great value, but just don't expect them to last forever. At the first sign of the rubber degrading, get a new pair.
VICKI C My husband wears size 11 C or 11 D size shoe depending on the brand.
We bought size 10.5-11.5 Aeris fins for him. Length of this fin should work for someone with a 10.5 shoe.
However, the issue for someone with a EEE size shoe is going to be the width of the fin's foot pocket. We think the fins may be tight, but the only way to know for sure is to try them on.
Shopper How long are the these fins?
LeisurePro S Approx. 23" in a large.
Shopper wear a size 13-14 shoe, will this fin in the 12-13 fit ? My wife wears an 8.5 - 9 shoe, what size in these fins will fit her?
LeisurePro S Yes, you should be able to get into the 12-13 with bare feet. For your wife, I would recommend a 7-8.
Shopper I forgot to add sizing question. What size to order for women's size 6 and a half?
LeisurePro S While these aren't particularly made for swimming, they can still be worn in a pool. Excellent for diving/snorkeling. For a six and a half, I would recommend a small.
Shopper I am interested in these fins for snorkeling. I am a size 9 and my wife is a size 6. What size fins should we order?
LeisurePro S For you a 7-8 and for your wife 3.5-4.5
Shopper hello, I was thinking of trying a full foot fin and was wondering about sizing. It looks from the reviews that it is best to go down at least one size is this correct? What is the rule of thumb for shoe vs fin size. Thanks.
LeisurePro S For the sizing on these fins I would recommend that you follow the sizing chart that we have posted on the product page. If you are near the border between sizes, then most definitely go for the smaller size.

Small and light weight, yet extremely efficient, the Velocity Full Foot Fins feature our unique Power Enhancing Vents (PEV's) for reduced leg stress and increased velocity. During the fin stroke, water flow is directed through the PEV's. This helps reduce the stress on the divers leg while accelerating water over the blade; resulting in increased velocity. Water movement through the PEV's reduce lateral movement of the fin (wasted energy), increasing the efficiency of the kick.
Made from advanced composite materials for ideal flex and memory, with an ergonomically designed foot pocket and weighing in at only 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg) per pair, the Velocity Full Foot fins are the ideal SCUBA or snorkeling fin for the traveler. Try a pair for yourself and find out what we mean by "designed for velocity". Fins come with a 12 month limited warranty.
