Tyler F How well did it work? Were you happy with it?
NATE A I enjoy them, they are very comfortable and durable. The flip feature is very nice to have in diffcult areas. Especially when you are enteriing or exiting the water. I recommend them.
MICHAEL Z I have used these fins for several seasons and really like them. They are a big improvement over conventional fins in terms of walking on the shoreline and they are plenty large enough to propel me through the water. One of those interesting ideas that actually works very well.
ANDREAS W I can recommend the Navigator Flipfins. I use them for fly fishing in a floating device. I bent one of the flippers once because i did not move them in the "up" position when walking, but they still work great. The thing is, moving them into the "up" or "down" position is not that easy as it has to lock in, and the lock is understandably very tough to prevent the flippers from switching while doing their work...
The two other slight drawbacks are the width of the shoe and the strap for the back of the shoe. i wear a size 12 shoe and just barely fit into it with my waders. The strap of one of the flippers once slipped off while I was walking backward out of the water... luckily they float so i saw the flipper come to the surface in front of me :-)
SUSAN C My husband used them only once, as he passed away. He liked them alot. Would you like to buy ours?
BOB P Tthe fins appear to be well built, the blades are bigger than anything I have ever used before thus faster moving in the water.
The fins do flip up as advertised and are easy to walk around in. Only thing I was unsure of was the weight of the fins. They are heavy (or at least to me). I fished with them for 6 hours at a public lake and then another 4 hours on a private lake. Getting them to fold down and lock in place was not as easy as i thought it was going to be but, I'm sure it will get easier as I use them more. Just my opinion They are worth the money as getting to and from the water and getting in and out a tube is safer and easier.
GREG B Before buying Navigator flipfins, I had Outcast fins which were impossible to walk in. Navigator solved that problem. They also are easier to put on and off. The fins seem longer than my Outcast fins and my legs seemed to work harder the first day I used them, after that I was totally use to them as I use them most days in the summer. The hinge spring is quality made and should last a long time. All in all, I am more than satisfied with Navigator and do recommend them. I see they are at a better price right now then what I paid.
