I took my Family to Oahu and Maui and my oldest son who is 10 needed new snorkeling fins. We tried these out and they proved to be perfect. He was snorkeling in 6o feet of water off of Turtle Bay and Molokini and kept right up with me. There were no complaints he really enjoyed it . They were also very affordable. I just ordered them for my youngest son who is 8 due to his old thin bladed Technisub fins cracking at the joint where the foot pocket begins and the blade starts while we were on the trip. (These fins were well used - not the fins fault). Couldn't find anything in Maui that was under $45 that wasn't rubber.They are a very nice looking fin also and how often can you buy something from Italy that works well and cost[$].There weren't any issues with the foot pocket being uncomfortable either.

The fins feel great but after extensive snorkeling in St. John, the fins began to rub my feet raw.
The plastic under the arch of my foot would bend in a weird way. I wrapped my feet and was fine. I did an extensive amount of snorkeling 5hrs+ for 5 days wearing occasionally these feel great. I am taking my cert class now and haven't had the same problem. so it may be isolated. I have wide feet too and these fit great.
